She calls herself Tanto. It is a name she took in honor of her favorite weapon - the Japanese sword. She is a mercenary specializing in covert and dangerous operations and working for those who pay more without asking unnecessary questions. She don't know anything about her past, except that she was an orphan who grew up on the streets of a giant metropolis, survived as best she could, learning martial arts and hacking skills, trusted no one and nothing but herself and her sword.

One day, a mysterious person offered her a mission, promising a lot of money for her to get into one of the most secure laboratories of Intercell Synthetics Corporation, a leader in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics. Her task was to steal a prototype that was supposedly of great value to the customer. She accepted the assignment thinking it would just be another job...
