The 28th Chapter sees Djuma Soundsystem team up with Westerby for our latest story in sound: the cosmic afro tech of ‘Disambigua’.

Now based in Copenhagen, Norwegian artist Djuma Soundsystem was catapulted into the public's consciousness over a decade ago with his club classic 'Les Djinns' on Get Physical Music. His organic, sample-heavy signature sound is the perfect combination with fellow Copenhagen artist Westerby’s rougher, analogue synths and techy edges.

‘Disambigua’, their much-anticipated follow up to smash hit ‘Koma Kobache’ (Get Physical), is a standout cut which is already turning heads on dancefloors across Europe with its dark groove and killer vocal hook.

Rising star Jonathan Kaspar (Objektivity, Pets Recordings) is first up on the Editions, where he takes things deep. Built around the interplay of synth lines in call and response, his rework is a pure bass monster.

Meanwhile, label regular KatrinKa marks her latest release on Chapter 24 with an Edition that places the emphasis on a trademark infectious groove, paired with a spiritual melodic motif; a perfect balance of darkness and light.

The package is rounded out by Aaaron. The in-demand producer has worked with everyone from Defected and Get Physical to (more recently) Connected and Yoshitoshi. He focuses on deep, powerful drums in a version heavy on tension.

With this latest Chapter there can be no doubt: four different flavours of ‘Disambigua’ which together add up to a clear and coherent whole.

Multi Genre DJ, Started in my first club in Worthing Sussex at age of 14 and have not put the music down since, Was a Regular visiter to Sterns Underground in Highdown Sussex and every Sunday spent at the Beachcomber Club in Brighton until the age of 26 before moving to London, Grew up with some now big name DJ's around me and became a VJ with projector's and graphics until covid lockdown hit then started on the Decks and here we are today loving and mixing everything that has a danceable tune to it. I will happily perform for any Online Radio Stations and Clubs or Parties but sadly can not commit to a regular station, although regular venue would be nice.

Mickey's Love for Music started at a very young age when he picked up his first Trumpet at the age of 11.
Mickey started his love for music in the 80's with really old school house, to Sterns Underground with Interdance in Highdown Sussex and London where Mickey could always be found hanging around Whoop Whoop parties in Woolwich through to the main Underground scene in London where he discovered the Fridge on a Friday night with it's PSY/Goa Trance nights where I met Shakti, Ollie Wisdom from Space Tribe, Astrix but to name the few.
Covid Lockdown that was it, Studio re built and finding himself playing for Online Radio Stations all over the world from Dubai through to The UK Mickey re surfaced under his VJ Nickname

lives up to his name through his addiction to House music.  Born and raised in Queens, NY, he began his DJing career at an early age of 13 and hasn’t stopped creating since.  His music immediately spawned attention when he first spun in house gigs, circled by crowds of tribal beat lovers. His genuine, powerful beats spread throughout the streets of New York by the time he was only 15.  Word of his vigor spread after spinning in Pacha, Opium, and other after-hour venues.  Today, his mind and heart encompasses enough material to produce underground electronica that captures the attention of beat lovers of all ages.  The power of his prominence surpasses his many friends and admirers and justifies his talent as an artist.  Those that had the privilege of indulging in his beats unanimously agreed they were “unparalleled”.  Danny’s ability to easily generate top of the line mixes is as natural to him as the Earth orbiting the sun. Nothing can stand in between this music addict!
