For Ritter Butzke's sixth anniversary we wanted to put together a proper compilation. "Six Years Lost“ will be presented in two parts: The first instalment will include six marvellous original tracks courtesy of our our residents and label artists: DJ Aroma, Iorie, Kuriose Naturale, Madmotormiquel, Mario Aureo & Manuel Moreno and Patryk Molinari. We wanted every track to be special as it’s not only the club anniversary, but also the 2nd birthday of our lovely label! Today we feel so proud to look back on what has already been accomplished and are equally as excited for what the future will bring!

Das Ritter Butzke Jubiläum „Six Years Lost“ verlangt nach einer standesgemäßen Compilation. Gesagt – getan: Hier kommt der erste Teil mit sechs großartigen Originalen! Beigesteuert haben diese einige unserer Residents und Label-Künstler: DJ Aroma, Iorie, Kuriose Naturale, Madmotormiquel, Mario Aureo & Manuel Moreno und Patryk Molinari. Sicher wäre jeder einzelne Track ein eigenes Release wert gewesen, aber was soll der Geiz? Zur Feier des Tages packen wir sie allesamt auf unsere Geburtstags-Compilation und gönnen sie uns alle auf einmal! Schließlich ist das Club-Jubiläum nicht der einzige Grund zum Feiern – gleichzeitig ist es auch der zweite Geburtstag unseres Labels. Somit blickt das Ritter Butzke Studio auch stolz auf sein zweijähriges Bestehen zurück und formt sich weiter und weiter.

The next Chapter centres on label artist Javier Orduña (Moda Black, Culprit) who steps forward with a very personal work for the Erretica EP.

The Spanish producer wears his heart on his sleeve, combining technical skill with an emotion and openness that he brings to bear on both originals on the package.

'Erretica' balances a dancefloor groove with tenser, contemplative synth lines while 'Theo Is The Parra' is a compelling, dark and atmospheric deep house cut which combines the soul of Detroit with jazz influences. 

Editions for the EP come from JEUDI label mates Bambook & Quina, and tech heavyweights Marc DePulse (Noir Music, Einmusika) and ACUMEN (Get Physical, Leena). Each offer a different shade of musical colour, ensuring the 23rd Chapter offers a full and rounded set of tracks. 

With his Erretica EP, Javier Orduña presents the fruit of his rich musical world and conclusively proves that sensitivity and strength can go hand in hand.

M.A.N.D.Y.’s ‘Rabbit Mountain’ makes a comeback with three new versions this summer, with two coming from the boys themselves and the other coming from Gerd Janson. Originally released last year on the duo’s debut album, ‘Rabbit Mountain’ was a light, dreamy tech-house number. First we have the Rework, throwing more emphasis on the groove while stripping the track down to the essentials and rebuilding it from there into a late night affair. Gerd Janson throws down some acid in his remix, pushing the tempo and energy with a dirty dance track that breathes the techno spirit. The final mix is the 8am Version, starting out with an ultra-catchy bassline before diving into the meat of the track – a warm, melodic blend of elements that inspire that 8am feeling.

M.A.N.D.Y. -  Rabbit Mountain (Rework)

We all know Gunnar Stiller from countless kick ass parties in Berlin. He has always been a reliable force as a DJ, especially when playing together with Fabiano. Now he’s taken a turn at the Tech House Crossings towards Upon You and had the right tracks on board to impress our head of A&R, Marco Resmann. He not only demonstrates his talents as a clever wordsmith but also his great musical taste with “Cubicle” and “Open You”, proving that everything that has been said about him is true.
