French artist Teho and Montreal based comrade Van Did have joined forces on this EP. Combining their talents for building powerful and emotional soundscapes, the duo have released an impressive EP called Hope on Stephan Bodzin’s Herzblut Recordings last year.

It’s little wonder that Teho & Van Did's music has found support from the likes of Applescal, Hernan Cattaneo, Moonbeam, Gabriel & Dresden and Deepfunk, Long Way From Home is a perfect example of their immersive, multilayered sound. Warm bassline, enchanting pads and escalating melodies make for an epic opener. Huacachina is a groovy and progressive composition yet powerful and cinematic.

French Duo, We Need Cracks, deliver a dreamy and captivating remix of Long Way From Home, duo has been catching international attention with very solid releases on labels such as Traum Schallplatten. 

Completing the release is remix by Daniel Zuur, Amsterdam based producer who deliver a deeper and melodic rework that still retains the energy of the original.

Après un été studieux à parcourir les festivals en Europe (Boomtown Fair, Tomorrowland..) et aux Etats-Unis, Bart&Baker reviennent avec un EP aux sonorités radicalement deep. Ils se sont faits assistés à la post production par le producteur allemand Timo Jahns qui avait fait sensation en début d’année en sortant sur le sous label de Get Physical, Poesie Musik un remix autorisé par Sade elle-même d’un de ses plus beaux titres, « Pearls ». Timo est actuellement rattachés aux labels D :Vision et Get Physical.
Sur ce nouvel EP qui sortira en Digital mais aussi en Vinyl (via Kuroneko Media), on retrouve l’un des interprètes fétiche de Bart&Baker, Pheel Balliana, interprète du Dj star Joe T Vanelli.
« Invicible » est une composition sexy et dark traitant de nos addictions modernes. Quand à « Windows of The World », en référence à la société des écrans, il infuse une douceur troublante grâce à ce rework exclusif.
Ces deux titres font dors et déjà partie du nouveau projet de DJ Ravin, résident du Buddha Bar, à sortir courant novembre 2015.
Un clip réalisé par le photographe Valentin Perrin sortira en même temps que la version digitale

After a busy summer, Bart&Baker are back with a solid package of tracks, remixed by the rising German producer Timo Jahns, who caused quite a buzz this year with his official release on Get Physical's sub-label Poesie Musik of an official rework of Sade's classic "Pearls". Timo has lent his magic fingers on two Bart&Baker tracks, featuring former Joe T Vanelli vocalist Pheel Balliana. 
"Invincible" is a dark and sexy tune, while "Windows Of The World" is a more sophisticated entry in Bart&Baker catalogue. 
Both tunes have been already selected by DJ Ravin from Buddha Bar for his forthcoming compilation.

Nach einem heißen Sommer melden sich Bart&Baker mit einem wundervollen Release zurück: neben einer Live Version von "Invincible" befinden sich Remixe vom deutschen Produzenten Timo Jahns mit auf der EP, welcher dieses Jahr mit seinem offiziellen Remix von Sade's "Pearls" auf Get Physicals Sublabel Poesie Musik schon für großes Aufsehen sorgte. Timo's magische Hände machen aus den beiden Originalen von "Invincible" und "Windows Of The World" zwei wirklich hörenswerte Deep House Tracks, die seinen unverkennbaren Sound absolut widerspiegeln. 
Während "Invincible" als dark & sexy beschrieben werden kann, reiht sich "Windows Of The World" als anspruchsvolles Piano-Stück in Bart&Baker's Release-Katalog ein. Seine Stimme leiht dem Release kein Geringerer als der frühere Joe T Vanelli-Sänger Pheel Balliana.
Beide Remixe von Timo sind im Übrigen von DJ Ravin (Buddha Bar) schon vorab für seine neue Compilation ausgewählt worden.

Why do we tell stories?

We breathe, we eat, we sleep. We seek connection. These are our basic human needs.

But there is one more need we all share, and it centres on stories. All across the world, stories are being recounted everywhere, in every imaginable way, at any given time. For telling stories is at the very essence of what it is to be human.

The universe of stories can be broken down into seven basic plots which underlie all stories ever told. Recognising these patterns is the gateway to unravelling the universal symbolic language from which all storytelling is spun.

With The Quest, Chapter 24 returns with seven stories in sound collected from artists across the world to bring these themes to life.

NHAR (My Favorite Robot, Correspondant) is a consummate storyteller, and he opens the book with the glistening space tech of 'Navigli'. This is quickly followed up by newcomer Dan Grassler, whose superb 'Going Back' with US vocalist KnowKontrol is powerfully brooding and promises great things for the Munich-based producer.

The momentum picks up further with the standout 'Over My Head', a dark and delicious cut from two returning Chapter 24 artists, Alex Zed and Billie Fountain.

The label welcomes Teho and Machino for their inaugural releases on the imprint. Frenchman Teho (Herzblut, Parquet) serves up a double helping of delight with the skilfully crafted 'Back To The Forest' and the tense tech house of 'Drunken Leads'. Meanwhile, Machino (Desert Hearts), one of a new wave of Tijuana-based producers, showcases his unique blend of potent techno and ambient influences on 'Perdidos'.

Finally, Melodule and Van Did bring the tales to a close with 'Téou 12', a dreamy, abstract piece that showcases wonky basslines, drifting pads and engaging sound design.

They say that there are only seven basic plots but a thousand different stories. 

And so, as the storyteller utters that age old, magical phrase "Once upon a time...", let yourself be carried away…
