I had the pleasure of playing a bass music set for Ideal Radio hosts Highblood & Ant Snow of the Ideal Collective based out of the Ventura county area. They host a bi-weekly stream on SubFM. every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. It was a long time coming to curate and put forth a Halloween-themed set, and this seemed to be the platform to express it. Starting at 120bpm's and ascending to 136bpm's by the end, the tracks chosen in this one encompassed a wide range of soundscapes. I hope you enjoy!

2M4dr3 was born and raised in the south side of Chicago.  Therefore, house music was embedded in her DNA early in life. She spins all genres of electronic music and you will often find elements of hip hop and ghetto house in her mixes.  

She gravitates her style towards heavy bass and breakbeat (Jungle) and her Chicago roots (juke/footwork).   Falling in love with the SoCal underground, she realized her passion as a DJ, but quickly recognized how under-represented women and marginalized communities are in this industry. She is dedicated to shaking things up and being part of the movement.

Charles Rebellion has been deeply embedded in the southern California rave scene since 1996 and has been crushing dance floors in both the Jungle DnB, and Bass music circles starting in 2003. He had his start pushing bass to the masses as an online radio show host (DnBTV.com) in 2006, while also playing events, outdoor festivals, and intimate desert gatherings both locally and nationwide. Charles has performed from Las Vegas to Philly, out in Bristol (UK) and Toronto (CAN). He has also held multiple DnB residencies in both San Diego and Los Angeles counties for well over the past decade while also continuing to stay eclectic with his deep arsenal of selections and bringing a different feel to every platform on which he performs. 

Rebellion loves to take the listeners on a journey through the music no matter what BPM range in the music. Balancing Leftfield sounds alongside familiar, high-energy-filled beats, he traverses through sub-genres and obscure grooves seamlessly within the bass music realm, bringing something fresh and rewarding to the dance floor every time.
