Hey Charlie… There are a lot of nice things about this song… and a few things you can do to make it even stronger. First of all, your title is really only said twice in the song. I really thing a much stronger title would have been GIVE ME A SIGN. You say that a lot, throughout the song. Second, what I believe would make the best chorus is that first verse at the top of the song, which also is the last verse of the song… Or maybe you meant that to be the chorus? That particular part of the song lifts melodically, and that is what you want a chorus to do, to give the song some good dynamics, to help hold the listeners interest. Now, your song is a good length, at three minutes and forty-five seconds. Actually, if could be a little more likely to get cut if you edited it down a bit, so that it came in at about three and a half minutes. Most commercial songs on the radio today are between two and a half and three and a half minutes in length. One last thing might be the form. Now, I do like how your song goes, but MOST commercial songs are verse, chorus, verse, chorus, and maybe a bridge, and then final chorus. Also, you CAN start with the chorus, as I believe you have done in this song. Maybe if you listen to the radio more, you’ll hear how most songs follow this form, and then it might be easier for you to make songs like that. Just a thought… Anyway, I am wishing you the best with this song… and for sure, keep on writing!!!
