Charls Ava is a border-dweller of the highest order--her music art lives where continents meet and cultures transact. Born and raised in the USA to Egyptian immigrant parents, she had a long run in New York City working as a session singer, mainly singing big commercials. She had some moments: singing backup for M.I.A. and once performing for French first lady Carla Bruni. Ultimately, she began to feel a scream within, to move on and create her own music in a new environment. She left and moved to Cairo to live and make music. Cairo, a crowded city, is ancient and modern, with a million people going their own way on any given street. A place fusing noise, improvisation and an underground creativity. It was the right place for the journey ahead.

Amr Ismael is a Cairo-based live performer and music producer. Founder of  Do3souqa(2015-2021) and Hisham Kharma bassist / buzuq player (2019 - present).

He has been involved in various Egyptian indie projects since 2012, whether as an arranger, producer, or live musician, honing his skills on the bass guitar, guitar, and buzuq.

During his journey of exploring and experimenting with numerous musical genres, Ismael began writing his own compositions, eventually releasing his debut single  in June 2022. His music combines LO-FI, oriental scales with jazzy harmonies to create an avant-garde, distinctive sound.

Ismael is currently working on his debut EP, which will combine Arabic tunes, ambient sounds, and free improvised music. slated for late 2022.

Mother mink is a Stockholm based music duo with Johan Axelsson and Fanny Wistrand. The band plays experimental indie pop with both electronic and acoustic elements. A big part of the music has been created by distorted saxophones, clarinets and dirty beats. #mothermink #motherminkmusic

I'm Pete Maher. I have worked in the music industry since I was 18 years old. First as a guitarist and songwriter (Warner Chappell) and then as a live engineer (Coldplay, Sheryl Crow) and now as a mastering engineer (since 2004). Clients include: U2, Peaky Blinders (full score), Rolling Stones, Katy Perry, Pixies, Killers, Jack White, Lana Del Rey. I'm a HUGE supporter of independent music. If I had my way I would clear out 50% of major label staff and start again! It's time for the industry to dig deep and start investing in new artists !!

Zeid Hamdan is a Lebanese music composer.
He was born in Beirut in 1976
For the last 2 decades, he s been producing  some of the most interesting bands of the Lebanese and regional indie music scene such as Soapkills , The New Government , Hiba Mansouri , Kanjha Kora , Maryam Saleh , Maii Waleed and his own songs under the band name "Zeid and the wings"
On top of producing his own records , Zeid Hamdan  has also been scoring for Films .
In July 2012 he was distinguished by CNN as being one one the 8 leading light of Lebanese Culture.
