Monochrome presents, Automne II : Amadeus(Dj Set), Exocet.

This autumn, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on Ambient, IDM and Dub-Techno.

Artist biography :

Amadeus is a French electronic music lover based in Paris, and resident Dj of Collectif Exocet 
With a deep taste for hypnotism and storytelling, he weaves his universe between ambient, downtempo, and more tribal-oriented sounds. He has featured on some podcast channels such as Anodynic Frequencies and Collectif Exocet. 
For him, electronic music is both a refuge for introspection and a way to communicate emotions, with a strong attachment to nature and elements. 
For this episode, he took inspiration from Norwegian mountains, and more especially the Gudvangen fjords, where he travelled last summer. Through a combination of dark, mystic textures and drums, he invites us to immerse in the deep, cold and mysterious universe of the Nordic valleys.

Other Form is a producer based in Bristol, UK, creating atmospheric, hardware-first techno and releasing on labels such as Observant (IN), Unterwegs (DE), Diffuse Reality (ES), Dissonanze (IT), Soptik (DE), and his own label Unknown Movements. Defined by a rich and immersive sound design, Other Form’s original tracks and remixes have earned support from the likes of Ben Klock, Svreca, Paula Temple, Takaaki Itoh, Nørbak, Stephanie Sykes, Laurent Garnier, and Amotik, with Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano choosing the track “Further Still” to open their Age of Love livestream.

Glasgow based Fernie has been immersing himself in the local scene since 2002 taking influences from the city's many techno stalwarts holding residences at a number of the areas key venues allowing him to hone his style over the years.

He provides both deep and driving hypnotic sets full of energy and soaring pads. This same ethos is relayed through his own productions which have seen release across a wide selection of respected labels.

Most recently he continues to develop his own Space Textures imprint facilitating the release of some of the finest atmospheric techno on offer. He also works with the influential Norway based Monument group to deliver podcasts and streams from artists around the globe.

In this session for Temple.Prayer, Fernie delivers a near 2 hour mix of both vinyl and digital selections with a number of unreleased productions and picks from the vaults providing a meandering journey into his mind.

First “Circulating Waves” mix of the year is coming from high up north!

Based in Oslo but feeling at home on the road, it is no surprise that Capodanna also knows how to properly make you travel on music. She was always extremely passionate about music and knew that she wanted to express herself through it. Then the vision for her first mix appeared in January last year. Not much later it was born and got published through her own channels. That’s when her musical odyssey really began.

Since then one year has passed and although new to the game she was able to easily convince podcast- and party-hosters like Dazedspoon, New New Nordic Burn or Extra Delicious with her precise mixing and organic track selection.

This mix is solid craftswomenship paired with well-chosen hypnotic gems to put you in a state of mind where the journey heading into infinite space is just one step away!

Catch FERENC SZANATI at DAAD this summer, who "made this mix specifically for this show — a glimpse into my musical world. I like music that moves people, both physically and emotionally. And I always play with the time, place, and people in mind.”  Ferenc Szanati has been collecting music since childhood and won the Justmusic.FM DJ Championship in 2007. His journey led him from Progressive and Deep House to a deep-rooted love for Dub Techno — a style he’s proudly represented for years. A vinyl purist with a passion for sound quality, Ferenc has hosted shows on Helikon Radio since 2011 and co-founded Euphonic Moments on Tilos Radio with AeRo in 2015. In 2023, he joined Hungary’s first Dub Techno collective, Technodub Seance, as a resident. Expect warm, immersive grooves and a carefully curated flow.
