Biography

Some people choose to forget their past, Chasing Solace chose to embrace it! Childhood friends who have finally been united! With their shared love of music, these veterans of the El Paso music scene are enjoying making music once again. They have finally found what they were looking for, peace . Hence the name Chasing Solace. This new found peace has given the band a vibe that will surely take them to the top! With the line up of Joe Razor from Pissing Razors and The Sixth, Sal Porras from the original All That Bleeds and Crash Kennedy, Dave Hernandez from Exit 116, and Notion Zero, Carlos Truax from Notion Zero and Rubberman, Sergio Carrillo from the original All That Bleeds and Tradiccion, you would expect metal to melt your face. But instead the band has chosen a path of heavy grooves, catchy vocals and an attitude that will leave you in disbelief! So brace yourselves! Chapter 2 begins with the exit of Carlos Truax leaving the Vocal slot available for the return of Joe Razor to return to the microphone. Chapter 2 is completed by recruiting Chris Bohn from KOMA and Dead Silence into the fold on bass! CHASING SOLACE has returned! 

Howie Rivet, is bringing a new soundscape to the dance and night club scene! Howie mixes and blends some of the best electro-house, progressive house, and trance you will encounter. Howie's goal is to provide an environment centered around the people and to provide an atmosphere that is both friendly and welcoming to all.
