South London based, Celsius, has built quite a name for himself over the past few years, releasing with Jaymo & Andy George’s reputable, Moda Black, imprint, as well as remixing for Anjuna Deep, and picking up BBC radio support from Skream, Annie Mac, Pete Tong and even filtering through to Nick Grimshaw’s daytime show, a striking sign of the modern appeal embodied in his music. Further support has come from Huxley, and Claude Von Stroke so it would seem Celsius is ticking all the boxes to elevate his career in 2013. Here he puts another foot forward, joining the MadTech roster following the steps of Citizen, No Artificial Colours, and Voyeur.

Title track ‘Incoming’ opens the single, and does so in style, with its enticing, pad and bass-driven intro, which soon, evolves into hectic synth stab and bass hook melodies that brilliantly, intricately develop throughout the track with baroque variations continually being introduced. The cosseting melodies, sporadic chords and a hi- pitched vocal licks are then worked into the structure intermittently to break things down and build tension surrounding the sturdy foundations, the result is a unique track covering lots of territory yet maintaining coherency.

Up next is ‘Thirds & Fourths’, which takes on a more, set-back, ethereal approach with the melodic side of things, opting to use soft pads, heavily delayed and reverberated string chops and FM synths. While shuffled rhythms, manipulated vocal snippets and the infectious bass-line carry the weight of the record. Then lastly to close the 12, is ‘No Ratio’, a slow-blooming, bass heavy, workout which again tightly blends cleverly sampled vocal lines, bright strings and loose 4/4 drums alongside an amalgamation of earth-shattering sub-bass and organ tones, creating a fantastic contemporary house number.

2013 has witnessed a lot of OFF's prodigal sons grow steadily into the global scene, joining new ventures and breaking a lot of boundaries. This is the case of hyperenergetic London duo Leftwing & Kody, who took the charts by storm with their impressive EP's "Bump & Flex" and then again with "You Were" becoming one of the label's favourites and later went on to release outstanding tracks and remixes on the likes of Exploited, Stil Vor Talent or Anjuna Deep while also keeping the stamina up to launch their own label Lost. We couldnt wait to have them back over here and they sure delivered with this exciting 2 track combo!

"I Know" finds them infusing their classic swinged up drums with r&b vocal licks and a bouncy driving bassline, all in their own trademark fashion with crazy build ups and an overall energetic vibe. 

"It Was Our" is the second track, also deep and intense with pulsating synth bass, more of those soul vocals, a killer house beat and great key arrangements to wrap it up.

What the Don?

He's been blowing minds with DJ gigs all over the world from Egypt to Australia, from USA to Japan, turning heads with festival performances everywhere from 'Hardfest'  to 'I Love Techno', from 'Sonar' to 'Pukkelpop'. But DON RIMINI manages to raise the bar once again with his first live show touring all across France at the moment: Some futuristic audiovisual assault called 'A Live Odyssey'.

So no doubt it's about time he drops a new EP. We're proud that the 'Fear Of Missing Out EP' will see the light of day via No Brainer Records.

In case you're familiar with the Don's work on his remixes for The Count & Sinden (Domino), Beataucue (Kitsuné), Young MC (Delicious Vinyl) or his previous EPs like 'Nlarge Your Parties' and 'Kick'n Run' you might ask yourself: 'Why house?'

This one's DON RIMINI's tribute to his roots of House and Disco. Updating these by adding a little bit of drive, overdrive, megadrive and ADHD.

'FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out)' is American English for a state of mind I've always been in actually. Even before internet and cell phones. Glad someone found a nice name for it, not so glad it's considered an illness. The tune makes you wanna kiss the closest girl under the closest disco ball asap. A pure ass shaker. God bless.

'The Future Is Ours' is nothing short of an extremely funky dancefloor revolution. Kickin' the kitsch out of disco house. Are you ready for a full body workout or like Pop Will Eat Itself would sample it: 'Can you dig it?'

'Highlight' is blinding me. Headbanger disco spilling over with positive energy. This one's got disco balls. 

And you're still asking yourself: 'Why house?' Because!!! Don can do as Don pleases. Plus house is just 'the uncontrollable desire to jack your body' according to Fingers Inc. Listen now 'cause we don't want you to suffer from the 'Fear Of Missing Out'.
