It’s another bag of random nonsense this week, as Paul and Eli bravely dive into a troubling world of second hand treats and terrors. As donated to us by Ash at the October live show (viewable on YouTube now!), it’s a bag with a proper mix of tat. What follows is another typically CheapShow wild ride covering the horrors of TikTok, dog treat toys, VHS based board games, advice from Timmy Mallett, unbelievably awful pun work, pyramid puzzles, and a wallet of DVDs with a grotty surprise! To make things more maddening, Eli is desperate to try out a brand new character but because Paul is poor evil, there is a very good chance this new character will be dead on arrival. If you want to know how old Paul and Eli feel these days, this episode will give you a very clear answer to that question!

Ep 412: Utterly Random

It’s Snack Time again on CheapShow and Paul and Eli have been luckily gifted with some treats from Austria! They have multi-flavoured wafers, garlic crisps, gummies, chocolate treats and fizzy drinks to guzzle and enjoy… But there is also something looming in the background, waiting to show its face… A snack CheapShow promised to eat a long time ago but could never get their hands on. They both hoped you’d forgotten about them, but one PO Box donation later, and the Cheap Chaps will finally have to face eating those “Dick” and “Pussy” flavoured crisps. What the hell do genital snacks even taste like? Sadly, Paul and Eli are about to find out. To make things worse, there is a Doctor Gustav lurking too, desperate to see everyone’s bum hole. Is this week’s episode a new low? There is only one way, sadly, to find out…

Ep 419: Genital Snacks

Last week, Paul and Eli gave themselves the challenge of finding six typical pieces of CheapShow tat in just a few hours, in the charity shops of Watford High Street. This week… they are going to share and review their findings. It’s a little more random than usual as the items range from the mundane to the bizarre. Along the way, they’ll bounce from toy cars to kitsch porcelain statues, via 1980s light entertainers and cheesy dance party albums. After an exhausting day of CheapShowing, the cheap chaps are finding it hard to find the right words, so they decide to invent a load of new ones instead! Who got the best tat, who failed the task? You decide! (But you don’t really decide. Just listen in.) It’s time for Tat Hunt: Watford High Street Part Two.

Ep 422: Tat Hunt: Scrumptious Tat

Sometimes Paul and Eli make mistakes, and that’s fine. That’s part of the cut and thrust of making CheapShow. However, sometimes they need to ask themselves just how many mistakes they should really be making in one episode alone. This week, they make a lot. Eli annoys Paul right from the start and the resulting fall out will only prolong their collective agony. Things begin innocently enough with two new chutneys to sample that both prove to be incredibly hot mommas! It gets a bit wobbly when Eli reveals his cheap soft drinks that all prove to be much less than they’d hoped. The BIG cock up arrives when Paul invites a new character along to monitor the cheap sweets segment. One distressing conversation later and Paul and Eli wake up in a cave and are forced to gobble horrible candies AND make a bloody Poppets based cookie? What’s going on?!

Ep 424: The Candy Cave

Cor Blimey, it's another "real time" episode of the podcast as Paul & Eli try to cram a meaty Price of Shite game into 60 mins. Eli is off to America to celebrate his 50th birthday and so Paul has requested an easy edit, so it’s time for another uncut, rambling and ranting edition of the economy comedy podcast. Thanks to another PO Box delivery, they have plenty to wade though to score those delicious p’twings! There’s some kitchenware, more Chas N Dave music, some games and a hideous piece of houseware destined for the bin! Not only all that but Paul & Eli manage to squeeze in a quick game of 1980s TV trivia too. It’s a big, stuffed, typically manic episode of CheapShow that Eli better not ruin with his “podcast killing” behaviour!
