As a Cornish listener I find this introduction deeply disturbing, which I suppose is exactly what I want and expect from cheapshow

The brand name is Baijia which translates to Bai's (as in a Chinese surname). The little guy is called Akuan which kinda means 'broad' and is like a sub-brand. Baijia also do a load of other series of noodles, most of them very good!

It's pronounced "Nishin" lads. Level up your noodle knowledge!

It takes a brave person to even attempt to bring back the "Cut Price Life Hacks" segment, it's takes an imbecile to try and cram it into a Gannon's Golden Games, but that's what Paul has done this week, and he may live to regret it. Elsewhere in the podcast, Eli is on a sauce and noodle mission and he is sick and tired of Paul's constant harassment, so he is taking it to HR. Again. Ep 238: Eggs!

After getting lost in the woods for two episodes, Paul and Eli are back doing what they do best. Whatever that is! Long time contributor Ivenne has sent the cheap chaps a box of goodies from Norway (and Sweden) and it’s packed with sauces, tat and candy. Eli doesn’t need an excuse to talk sauce, so he is rather excited about the Lee Kum Kee Cooking Sauce collection as well as the lemon grass siracha and Vietnamese soy sauce. Paul? He isn’t excited at all. Things improve when its time for a European Price of Shite, with items obtained from Norwegian charity shops. For Paul, he is most excited by the folk cassette that Eli promptly ruins with his improvised, horrific lyrics. Things don’t improve when a few new characters turn up, each one more pointless and volatile than the last. Put the kettle on, grab a hot drink and get cozy, it’s CheapShow time!

Ep 283: Norwegian Goods

It's been a big old year for the CheapShow chaps, so they are going to celebrate Christmas in style... with an elaborate, no expense spared, all star Christmas office party... Which goes about as well as you think. Paul is drunk and rude, Eli is sober and angry and no matter how hard they try, they can't keep their "celebrity friends" for interfering. So pour a festive drink, relax and join the party. Ep 107: The Office Christmas Party

Something a little different this week as we launch "Tat Hunt". This is Part One of a Two Part series where Eli and Paul pick a place in the UK to hunt for charity shop treasure, gather their wares and then prepare them for next week's reveal! So, because Paul & Eli are lazy, they went someone close in location and close to their heart... East Finchley in North London. A place they both lived at one point, and also at their darkest hours. Will Paul & Eli regret returning? Let's find out! What is comedy exactly? It's not 100% clear if Paul and Eli know what comedy is at all, but this week, they attempt to look at what is often erroneously called "Anti-Comedy" thanks to another delicious vinyl record discovery! The cheap chaps take a deep dive into the world of alternative comedy, the work of Ted Chippington, psychobilly music and curious independent record labels in this week's Silverman's Platter. Paul has something special to show off this week too! Although it's tough to call it a "cheap" purchase (thanks packaging and postal costs), the Gannon's Golden Game segment gets a new addition when Paul reveals his electronic The Price is Right game.
