The Cheap Show is an anarchic comedy podcast that is one part chat show, one part game show and one part guide to living on the cheap!

Presented by Paul Gannon, Eli Silverman and Ash Frith, each show features chat, stand up, challenges, audience participation, improvisation and a whole load of outrageous outbursts!

Living in austere times isn't very amusing, but CheapShow will take the edge off it at least!

Paul is not in the mood this week. He isn’t in the mood to be a podcaster. He isn’t in the mood to have a laugh. He isn’t in the mood for Eli. He isn’t in the mood for Eli’s vocal “chuntering” and all he IS in the mood for is a nap. Obviously, Eli loves this fact and is going to great pleasure in soaking up all of Paul’s self-loathing. All we are saying is, it may get personal this week! Luckily, there is some actual content, even if it’s not exactly the content they planned. Before they even get started, they take a tangent into the deeply scatological when they discover “rectal euphoria” is a thing and Eli suggests a new segment that ISN’T going to happen. CheapShow is back on the snacks, when they are introduced to Tayto “Might Munch” and given a taste test challenge. Meanwhile, a limited edition bag of Walkers crisps tries to gain entrance to the Snack Palace, but will it get in? Finally, Paul has a Charity Shop Showcase he believes will not only win Eli over, but also change the way we understand reality! As you can probably guess, it doesn’t go well for him.

Ep 1: Brian Wecht Lowers His Standards

It's CheapShow Episode 2, celebrating the best of the worst...

...Performed in front of a PACKED house at The Camden Head Pub, London, Paul Gannon and Eli Silverman inflict their own brand of improvised economy comedy in their (loosely) Easter themed episode!

In this week's mighty episode...

Paul tries to marry the world of classic horror and classic literature together for profitable gain, explains how his young life was ruined by looking like the Milky Bar Kid, tries to explain different types of penis to the audience, pretends to be Daddy at feeding time, attempts to bring peace and calm to the world with his new relaxation tape and discovers that no one cares about his nuts...
Meanwhile...

Eli gives more blunt opinions on the week's news, wants to spank women and drink vodka for Easter, gets pissed off with Gingerbread, tells us one too many stories about his vomiting adventures, gets fed like a big hairy baby, admits to sucking off tramps, has a piss poor Tales from the Dance Floor story to tell and considers his opinions on nuts the most authoritative in the world.

It's just another uncatagorisable comedy show!

Ep 2: Eli And Paul Eat Baby Food

Special Guest Bec Hill

CheapShow Episode 3 is another instalment of the bargain basement podcast that celebrates the very best of the worst

In this episode...

Eli calls Paul a down on his luck IT salesman and Paul calls Eli an inside out Danny DeVito.

Eli thinks he has the ultimate solution for all these leaked nude pictures.

Paul and Ash Frith give us dire warnings about our own phone misadventures.

The boys answers the age old questions, "What is worse... Incessant uncontrollable orgasms or over sized testicles?"

Very special guest Bec Hill gets put through the wringer thanks to a very peculiar set of inappropriate questions from Eli.

Eli picks probably one of the very worst singles ever for his vinyl selection and one that ends quickly... but not quickly enough.

The boys introduce a new segment called the Price of Shite - which is like a charity shop version of Antiques Roadshow... But that quickly goes off the rails and eventually leads to Ash and Bec creating, mid show, their own spin off show where the hosts are lovely and nice to each other! Can You Imagine That??!?!

Eli has a brief Pop Up Pirate make over.

Eli and Paul are charged with creating an advert for Camden Town, which doesn't go well and leads to a hilarious and yet shocking confession from Bec!

The highlight of the show is the "Jelly Belly BeanBoozled Challenge" where Paul, Eli and the rest of the packed Camden crowd take on a jelly bean eating competition where no one knows what nice or nasty flavour they are putting in their mouths... but quickly learn to regret it... However it's Eli to takes the brunt of the misery.

Finally, Eli throws his weight around on the topic of Fizzy Drinks. He may be wrong, but he really doesn't care!
