Heavy periods. At least 50% of women struggle with them enough to, well, absolutely skip wearing white pants during that time of the month, and for 1 in 6 women, they’re severe enough to significant impact quality of life – from disruptive, frequent trips to the bathroom to change pads or tampons, to serious at-work period accidents, to staying home from work social engagements, and basically living life for fear of public period accidents.

#302 Finding Balance For A Successful Year!

Its very common that I speak to someone who believes they have low thyroid function or "hypothyroidism", and they are not getting help from conventional medicine. You may get TSH tested, which is almost irrelevant, and then sent home after being told "everything looks normal". But I believe many of us know our own body better then any doctor - we have lived here for many years. 
So I wanted to remind you of these tests that I have spoken of before. These 4 tests can be done at home with low cost and are non invasive/pain free. You can do these tests, track your data and then discover your thyroids health for yourself. Then you can take action on supporting your body, confidently, after listening to what it is trying to tell you. 
These tests have been used since the 1800s by many experts in the field of thyroid health and are deemed to be better then serum testing.

The “nocebo effect,” the placebo effect’s malevolent brother --- so with placebos, the mere expectation that treatment will help, brings a reduction of symptoms, even if the patient is given a sugar pill. Whereas with nocebos, dark expectations breed dark realities - in other words, nocebos bring on negative symptoms.
