I met Nikolina the 31th of December 2022, during my set for Unreal in Köln. It was the third gig of the night, I was so tired but it was a magical night. Nikolina was there with Leon, whom I already knew well and adored. He introduced me to her and I learned that she was a dj. I then listened to her sets  and fell in love with her syrupy, danceable techno. So naturally, I invited her to do a poadcast for my channel "Comme dans les films". She is a diamond in the rough and a perfect product of Germany and its bewitching techno.

He combines Hard Trance with old school Techno elements and since his first gigs in 2021 he is a main part of the collective and event series ‚Teufelswerk‘ in Augsburg. His DJ sets are a combination of Early Hardstyle, Schranz and newer Industrial Techno and are always mixed in a fast-paced fashion and our mix today is a great example.

This song is kinda the entire reason this album exists in the first place! I learned about okazaki fragments in biology class and thought to myself "that sounds like a rhythm game and/or rhythm game influenced song" so I got the idea to make it into an actual song, but then I also remembered this whole concept I made about biological alteration that fits into this huge storyline I'm making. So, I made a whole EP based entirely on that! Hands down my best rhythm game music I've ever made. Actually we. Asaniel COOKED with melodies and sound design. That melodic drop was insane.
