2Shy MC, a name given in irony, a fact that becomes evident when he performs. Blessed with an ability matched by few and a versatility to work across all spectrums of music it soon becomes apparent that this well established and supremely talented MC has very little of the shyness about him.

The Amp Man, The Compare, The Host, The Vocalist and much more, with a unique style of delivery and lyrical content that’s fresh, upfront and relevant. 2Shy not only has an innate understanding of the music and what the DJ plays but the ability to connect with the crowd and link them together as one. An MC who is respected and loved in equal measures by the DJ’s and ravers alike is a rare thing indeed but 2Shy does this with ease due to his natural talent and stellar stage presence.

Charlie B aka OPTIMUS GRYME is a self taught producer who has been tapping away on beats for just over a decade. In 1998 Charlie started experimenting with trip hop and breaks, but it was his love for cutting edge breakbeats and massive basslines that drew Charlie into the world of drum and bass in 1999. Since then Charlie has immersed himself in all things Phat!

In 2000 Charlie promoted some of New Zealand's first ever hip hop & dnb fusion gigs, with P Money, Manuel Bundy, MC Green and Imon Starr, rhyming and scratching over Subtronix's 48 Sonic, Riddle, Motion and Nick D (then known as Trick D).

In 2002 Charlie founded 'Offbeat Records' which promoted loads of events over a 4 year period, bringing Concord Dawn, Timmy Schumacher, Angela Fisken, Greg Churchill and DJ Sirvere to the backblocks of Waiheke Island.

In 2006 Charlie started his 2 year stint as host of ROLL TV, a nationwide TV show dedicated to drum and bass, where he interviewed world class producers Chris.Su, Bryan G, D Bridge, Limewax and Artificial Intelligence just to name a few.

2006 also saw Charlie appointed as label manager for Concord Dawn's 'Uprising Records', which he managed for 6 months before moving on to become drum and bass editor of the 'Infusion Magazine'.

In 2007 Charlie teamed up with DJ Swindle to host Kiwi FM's 'NZ Drum & Bass Show', which is now know as the NZ Electronic Show and is hosted by Absolute Value.

Charlie has been Djing for 15 years and has performed all over Australasia, and at some of NZ’s largest gigs including CoroGold, Rhythm & Vines, La Da Da, Phat, Our House, Illuminate, Groove in the Park and numerous Deep, Hard & Funky events. 

Charlie has a unique drive and passion for beats. He has truly dedicated his life to music, and given all he has done over the past 10 years, there is no doubt that he does it all for the love.

STRANJAH is a pioneering figure in the North American drum and bass scene, with a career spanning over two decades. He has solidified his position in the bass music world with seminal releases on Metalheadz, 31 Records and Renegade Hardware, and has recently worked with major labels such as Critical Music and Hospital Records.

STRANJAH's sound draws from a wide range of influences, making it difficult to label under one umbrella. However, his modern-day sound is characterized by expressive bass sounds, 90s synths, and syncopated drum beats. He has established himself as an influential figure in the music production community, with his new YouTube channel and label Deviant Audio, where he provides knowledge, tools, and resources to empower emerging artists and push the boundaries of electronic music.

Originally from Romford,East London UK way,now living in Christchurch New Zealand since 1994.
Played numerous clubs,parties etc and radio in both countries.
Been mixing since 1982 starting with Electro and early Rap and moving through Acid House in 1988 and all forms of dance sounds.Jungle and Drum and Bass has always been a big part of my mixing but loving getting back towards my House music/Disco roots.
I presented a live 2 hour show on Saturday nights 10.00 -12.00 AM GMT "House Proud" on www.openhouseradio.co.uk playing a full spectrum of new and classic Deep/Tech  as well as hosting the Jungle show "Metrobeatz"   on Christchurch RDU  98.5FM  frequently over the past 26 yrs.

Currently doing a monthly 2hr  Jungle show on www.dropfm.com and mixing just for fun at home .
