Dom Benigno is a composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Cape Town, South Africa/Oslo, Norway  and manchester, UK .  His sonic philosophy: Music is music is music.

Biography
Dom Benigno is a composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist currently based in manchester, UK. Originally from Johannesburg, Dom was influenced by his father’s musicality from an early age and learned to play the piano when he was only 5 years old. He also learned how to master the drums, the accordion, the harmonica and the guitar, but the piano remains his first love and he’s widely known for his solo improvisations. 

Having worked as a professional musician for 12 years, he’s collaborated and played with a colourful range of musicians from all corners of the world encompassing a variety of genres including pop, rock, blues, reggaes, jazz, hip-hop, psychedelic trance and electronic dance. He plays the keys and the accordion with the Jack Mantis Band and Plush, and tours with singer-song writer Stefan Dixon. He’s also the voice of Soundlanguage, a DJ and live performance duo act that he started together with his childhood friend Hugo Gravito (Bazooka Boy) and recently joined by his brother and fellow musician Ric Benigno (Bobby Boston)

Dom is currently working on two experimental solo projects where he’s interweaving acoustic recordings with electronic elements. The first one a soundscape of synth-driven tracks shifting between electro house, electronica, dance and minimalistic ambience. His second project is a more downtempo compositions of intimate post-classical symphonies. 

Like the artist himself, his music can be hard to define and blurs the boundaries between various genres, a testament to his sonic philosophy: music is music is music.

Riccardo Benigno is a genre-blending DJ, producer, and live performer whose immersive sets traverse the worlds of Afro house, electronica, deep house, breaks, and techno. Born in Johannesburg and based globally, Riccardo has spent over a decade sculpting soundscapes that fuse pulsating percussive grooves, filthy synth basslines, and hypnotic vocal textures.

A graduate of SAE Institute with a BA in Sound Production, Riccardo’s skillset extends far beyond the decks—he’s also a vocalist, synthesist, drummer, and label owner. As the creative force behind multiple aliases (including Themba, SearchingSilence, BeeziR, Bobby Be, efault, B.o.B and Goof) and co-founder of the progressive label and trio *SOUNDLANGUAGE*, his sonic identity is defined by innovation, authenticity, and raw musical energy.

Riccardo’s explosive performances have lit up stages from *Afrikaburn* to *Elrow Barcelona*, *Jungle Experience Thailand*, *VH1 Supersonic India*, and festivals across Colombia, Germany, Norway, Mozambique, and South Africa. He’s supported acts like *Four Tet*, *Stimming*, and *Boris Brejcha*, and has released music through renowned imprints including *Katermukke*, *Kalushi Recordings*, *Nomadiq Music*, and his own *Soundlanguage Records*.

Whether fronting bands like *Terrarium* and *Goof*, collaborating with global artists, or curating transformative DJ sets, Riccardo brings unmatched live energy and spontaneity. An African nomad, Floyd Lavine mines inspiration wherever he goes. From the
vibrant musical scene of his homeland, drawing influence from local South
African Djs like Oskido, Vinny Da Vinci , to the heady East London party scene
during a six-year stint in the UK capital.
Moving to Berlin in 2016, he soaked up the vibes of the cityʼs world-leading
house and techno scene, but always went his own way establishing RISE, an
Afro House collective that staged monthly events at Watergate and across
Europe.
Floydʼs sound is the sum of his parts; cross-genre, with broad appeal; heʼs
played everywhere from CTM Festival, Panorama Bar and Black Coffeeʼs Ibiza
residency.

In 2021 sees Floyd launch his new imprint Afrikan Tales focusing on pushing
fresh new Afro future sounds
