For such a short song, this was surprisingly difficult to cover, mostly because of the percussion. I also didn't realize how many times this song changes time signatures, going from 13/8 to 12/8 to 8/8 back to 13/8. 

The mixing was also really hard to get right because volume works a little differently with VRC7 compared to 2A03, but I was able to use one of the FM channels to make some decent percussion, which I'm happy about.

I don't really often enjoy doing game remixes, I'll admit, but every now and then, it can be pretty fun! This song in particular has always inspired me, and confused the heck out of me. Learning to play it was a very educational experience! Driving around the San Francisco Bay Area at night (and especially criss-crossing the bay) made me think of this song a lot. I know it's not perfect, but I hope you enjoy it!

I'm still on vacation... just got back from roughly 700 miles of driving, and getting ready to do more! @~@  I will be returning home August 2nd!

The "P" mix of R2 -- which honestly probably wouldn't have fit the actual level very well now that I know more about it. Oh well. I was really proud of these and wanted to share anyway. :D
