The crackling fire and creaking floorboards embodied the very idea of comfort. This was the house where Needle had spent every summer since her childhood. It felt like not much had changed since then. Everything still held the presence of her beloved grandmother. She had passed away a year ago, but the portrait of her hugging her little granddaughter still filled the space with warmth and glee.

— Let’s bake a pie. We just need to check the recipe on YouTube.
— Ha! Dream on. Forget about the internet — we’re doing this from memory!

After midnight, the baking began: they dusted their cheeks with flour, stuck bits of parchment to their foreheads, and told ghost stories. At last, they had their chance to be a true duke and duchess — far from the noise of everyday life.

Chippy Chasers is an illustrated electronic label and record store from The Hague, promoting a wide range of house sounds. Founded in 2023, the project blends music, storytelling, and visual identity into one continuous experience.

The stories unfold in the present — through the lives of Needle and Plate, two friends who simply can’t imagine life without music. Female selectivity and male determination take them across Europe’s nightclubs, record shops, and creative spaces — all in search of that perfect moment the dance genre has to offer.

A musician and designer who sees beauty in the smallest details. His commitment to the aesthetics of minimalism allows him to make the surroundings stylish and concise. In 2019, Thomas founded the dub-techno label Spacelunch (@spclnch), whose direction correlates with his worldview and has no formal criteria. Passion for careful selection led in 2023 to the launch of another label with the telling name Chippy Chasers (@chippychasers). The concept is dominated by a distinct house texture of different shades. Both projects are accompanied by thematic illustrations and fascinating stories.

The key ethical principles are an individual approach and a careful selection which allows you to get the best possible from the communication with artists.

The concept of releases is dedicated to a fantastic multimedia universe. The space adventures of Spacelunch and Cat unfold in episodes of an interactive musical comic. Each of them has an original script, and they are connected by a consistent storyline.
