That young troublemaker sneaks among flower vendors and quiet parks, troubling hearts with sweet confessions. But what if someone falls for something else — like music? That’s exactly why the record store on Giuseppe Verdi exists. Its doors are always open to devoted diggers. Two of them have just arrived. Having hopped inside the vinyl shop, they eagerly started flipping through editions of past decades.

Chippy Chasers is an illustrated electronic label and record store from The Hague, promoting a wide range of house sounds. Founded in 2023, the project blends music, storytelling, and visual identity into one continuous experience.

The stories unfold in the present — through the lives of Needle and Plate, two friends who simply can’t imagine life without music. Female selectivity and male determination take them across Europe’s nightclubs, record shops, and creative spaces — all in search of that perfect moment the dance genre has to offer.
