People used to say that for Needle and Plate, it was enough just to be together. It didn’t really matter what they were into — the “Beat ’em up” showdown, long discussions, food, sleep, or hunting for hidden gems. That mutual glow made everything feel special.

Thank god for salt. Got the hook up. Bags and pounds of it. Shakin this shit all over the steps and driveway. Paves and melts the way. 😉ha, I really don't know how to live without it. Best friend. 

Staying deep in the mixes and tracks. Per usual...Keepin' it real and movin'. I dance around the clock. Sometimes I sleep. No joke. Professional groover. Cheerleader. I 🧡roller coasters and snuggling. Rhymes, painting and puzzles are also a few of my favorite activities. Walking in woods, along the lakeshore is the best. Designer. Yogini. Somewhat an activist for certain topics that I find important. Creative writer. Healer in the holistic field. No kidding around I like to help people if I can. Natural therapies are the best. Decades in this field as well. Had to pull myself out of some traumatic experiences and injuries and so that is how I began learning and I continue to learn day to day about this never ending journey. Thought I'd share this finally on this platform in case somewhat in the music community needs help too.  🙏🏼

I like to add some points about life experience here in there in the comments...make some fun sometimes too. Music and Art critic once and a while. I'm not really an expert or out to make anyone feel bad, mainly I praise artists and build them up. We have enough we all deal with day to day with family, cutent events random people...It's exhausting sometimes. It does make me happy if I can give something back to the music scene I believe in and cherish. 💫 

We all go through the wringer sometimes, good to have someone who has your back through thick and thin. Don't forget your true friends. Ever. Give one of them a call today. You'll be glad you did. 🙏🏼 Like Wu Tang said, " who got my back in the line of fire?" If you struggle call for help...those that come to your needs, THESE ARE YOUR PEOPLE. Treat them like GOLD bc they are more precious than 24K 😉🙏🏼

I could add my third party review of a historic music experience esp in the electronic field, approx fifteen years....but I save that for personal inquries usually. I am no professional dj or producer but I have much experience in the scene. Who knows? I change my bio frequently. Why? Because I enjoy writing and evolving something old into something new I suppose. I might even be working on djing (secrets) we shall see.

And BTW, Who is this volume "expert" messaging me on the daily/nightly about my volume levels? This cat can take a seat. I choose my own volume Bro. Ha, you must be part of some type of propagandic program. Who knows?? Are you sitting on a thrown of the sound police eating crispy creams? 😉 haha

Ale Mayer is an Argentine DJ and producer based in Madrid. After a long period dedicated to semi-professional rugby, he decided to leave his sports career behind to fully dedicate himself to his true passion: electronic music. From an early age, Ale was a loyal lover of techno, although it wasn't until he was 22 that he began to channel his creativity and musical sensibility through mixing and production.

His sound is influenced by both the roots of Detroit techno and current techno, with influences such as Robert Hood and Kevin Saunderson, as well as contemporary figures such as Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani, Nicolás Taboada, Andrés Campo, among others. Furthermore, Ale feels deeply connected to the more melodic aspects of the genre, exploring introspective atmospheres and lower BPM tempos. This combination of influences allows him to create a unique offering, with its own essence that captures the best of each style.

Her main goal as an artist is to create experiences that connect emotionally with clubbers, taking them on a journey of sensations that range from euphoria to drama to introspection. This vision is reflected in both her sets and her productions, which will be released throughout 2025.

On the Madrid scene, Ale has established herself with repeated appearances at parties such as Icebox Club at Sala X Private, Prisma at the legendary Marula Club, Goya Social Club, Hangar 48, and other appearances in venues across the capital.

She is also part of Katarsis Electrónica, a multicultural collective that views music and dance as an ancestral ritual of spiritual connection. Katarsis has organized events in iconic venues such as LAB the Club, Café Berlín, and Hangar 48, and recently launched her own record label, Katarsis Musik, aimed at highlighting prominent artists from Spain and Latin America.

As a personal project, Ale is one of the founders of Monochromatic Sessions, a YouTube channel dedicated to promoting emerging (and not-so-emerging) talent, with the goal of offering quality musical content and expanding the underground electronic music scene. Through this project, he also embarked on his first experiences as a promoter, organizing parties in collaboration with other collectives, thus strengthening his presence in the local scene by creating spaces where the community can resonate to the rhythm of fresh and authentic offerings.
