DJ Maggie carefully curates the best of downtempo electronic into lush, playful and deeply replenishing sets that invite listeners on shimmering audio odysseys. Whether leading flights to the depth of the heart or the outer dimensions of the cosmos, Maggie pilots music masterfully as a multi-dimensional tool—for joy enhancement, energy boosting, community building, a safe space for retreat, a salve for helping heal pain, or a focus-enhancing medium to optimize creativity or productivity. Evolving her own brand of intuitive sound at the legendary Southern California desert gatherings of the groundbreaking Moontribe Collective and other conscious parties and festivals, Maggie soon established a reputation for her heart-expanding sonic rides. This eventually propelled her into the path of her current collaborations with esteemed downtempo artist and producer, Bluetech, on his label Behind the Sky and her label Over the Moon. She also has co-produced Holotropic Happy Hour, an artisanal audio-visual show, for over two years on Bluetech’s Twitch channel, as well as several shows on her own channel during the early days of the pandemic.

The cosmic cold spot is an area in space with an anomalously low temperature of the cosmic microwave background left over after the Big Bang, which should have been distributed evenly throughout the Universe. In music this area obviously corresponds to ambient.

This set compiled by DJ V++, which is a continuation of the “Cosmic Microwave Background” mix, contains ambient tracks released in different years on Microcosmos Records. Immerse yourself in the calmest areas of Cosmos and dissolve in space.

“Himar” EP is a 5 tracks dance floor and sound system music exploration by
Italian artist Ortensio with a special Isabassi Remix. Manifesting as a mixture of
different BPMs, moods, attitudes and genres tributes, “Himar” touches
elements of tribal rhythms, brain dance shuttered machines, low pressure
dubstep, frantic mediterranean drums layered on top of slow and sexy
baselines, tripped out club music repetitive voices and a good dose of sarcasm.
