As part of my upcoming 2023 music zine issue, I interview Will (they/them) from Scuttlefuzz and tricky Stoop Records. Will produces indie/electropop music as Scuttlefuzz and recently released their first full-length album, "Ghosts." In the second part of this interview, we talk about tricky Stoop, the cassette tape label that Will runs, distributing cassette tapes for small independent (mostly furry) musicians.

Scuttlefuzz Interview - HMMMM Zine

This piece is the first in an ongoing series of Reorchestrating the Furry communities music, showcasing the multi-talented artists within this genre that are often overlooked due to their associations with the term "Furry." The music presented shouldn't be valued any less, nor should the artists be either.

"Candy Coffin" was originally released by Chocofriendz on September 21, 2017 in their album "Airplane" as the second track.
It would then be covered by scuttlefuzz in their album "Ghosts", released August 1, 2023, as their final track.

The rendition performed by scuttlefuzz is first before Chocofriendz in this arrangement, as inspired by other artists transitioning from a 4/4 to a 12/8 feel, not for any other reason.

Chocofriendz describes their album "Airplane" as such: Alternative, Autumn, Bedroom Pop, Blanket, Bonfire, Dream, Honey, Lo-Fi, Pop, Weird.
