Baumann’s work as DJ and producer combining a solid and clear vision going beyond tasteful standards with an innovative way of exploring the sounds of tomorrow. He definitely has become over the years a confident performer that can easily electrify the dance floor with his emotionally and technically state-of-the-art sets. This has made him an undeniable vinyl expert as resident of PSYCHO THRILL, but also a recognized DJ that dares to transcend the “classic” rules in the genres Techno and Acid. Of course Baumann shows the same confidence and authenticity with sound specific sets in which his special love for Techno, in particular for the raw and hypnotic styles, will always be the strongest element. His commitment to the underground is the essence of it all…
Baumann’s concept and greatest goal is to be able to capture the crowd and transport it to the sound of atmospherically condensed Techno and Acid far from the daily routine and tension. As an indisputable "defender of the vinyl" he owns an eclectic and constantly growing collection of more than 6000 records. Since the beginning of Cologne’s PSYCHO THRILL second phase, back in 2008, Baumann has been an active part of the label family.
In addition to his long-standing career as a DJ and producer, Baumann is also a certified Mixing & Mastering Engineer and founder of CB Mastering. With over 30 years of experience in electronic music and audio production, he offers a unique blend of artistic sensitivity and technical precision. Specializing in electronic genres – from raw Techno to deep Soul, Acid Jazz and beyond – his mastering work has become known for sculpting frequencies into energy that resonates both digitally and on vinyl. As a creative partner to indie artists and underground labels, Baumann combines analog warmth with modern clarity, always driven by an uncompromising ear for sonic identity. 
Born and raised in Siegen [Germany], Baumann discovered his passion for Acid House as a teenager during the so-called “Summer of Love” in the late 80’s inspired by his uncle who was working as a professional DJ and promoter in the local club scene at that time. At the age of 12 he started “to work” the turntables and eventually really got into traditional DJ-mixing with the help and support of his uncle. He eventually managed to become a DJ and promoter himself at the age of 18, following the footsteps of his mentor who unfortunately passed away in 1998.

PSYCHO THRILL Cologne-founder and former NETWORK PRESS / CUT / d2000 magazine editor CLAUS BACHOR. One of the German long-term House and Techno DJs at all, and as friends in Detroit say "he's been doing this as long as anybody else that we know! His sets can range from classic Disco & old school House classics all the way to the darkest, bangin' techno that you've ever heard!" However, he's not standing still yet: The Psycho Thrill club and vinyl label run by him has just turned 29 and Bachor is still doing bookings all over Europe, the United States and beyond.

His long-term affiliations with Detroit Techno music and also his journalistic involvement with the topic of Detroit Techno/ Electro/ Chicago-House as an author/editor over the years has made him a world renowned expert. This experience and vast knowledge of the techno genre has led him to appearing in many documentaries, the most noteable being 'High Tech Soul' [ www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0DocslQ4lE ] which focused on the creation of Detroit techno music. Other film credits include being involved in the highly acclaimed 'We Call it Techno' [ https://vimeo.com/showcase/4518357/video/207023599 ] documentary which focused on Germany's early techno scene and club culture.

Without using the usual hype for trends, he has managed to gain a position as multi-​commun​icator in the German Techno and House scene, in which he is always convincing as a DJ. With "backinthadayz" Bachor goes back here to his musical roots which where deeply influenced by afro-american friends who where working at the US embassy in Bonn or taking service as GIs at US military basis in the Frankfurt/Rhein-Main and Nuernberg area in the early seventies. I am a confessed Psycho Thrill Cologne supporter. Friend and lifelong fan of Claus Bachor and Roland Casper. In addition, my complete respect goes to Klaus Stockhausen (Coconut K / Front HH), without whom the two of them would never have been so captivated by electronic music. Without these three, Techno, Acid, and House in the German Rhine Area would never have become what it has firmly anchored in the club scene there to this day. Psycho Thrill Cologne 4evr. There are no rules, fear is unknown, and sleep is out of question!!!

At the edge of just 17 Andi starts to hear underground Disco Music, later Funk and consequently a large amount of Jazz. For the first time In 2008 he heard tracks from Dennis Ferrer and started to love House music.  In the following years he become a serious collector of quality House & Techno music..Recently he starts to mix together a lot of different styles of electronic music  His first time on a Mixer was in 2012. BUT he is very busy and love to work on this equipment and push his skills futher. He create regularly new mixes with differnt focus: Classic House, Deep House, Funky stuff, Progressive, Latin House, Tech House and finaly a lot of Techno.

DAVE LANGER aka DAVE DU MONTE got into his first contacts with electronic music during the mid of the 80’s by synthie-pop bands like Depeche Mode or Front 242 and also Kraftwerk. At this time, Techno and House were still completely unknown words for him, but it finally changed all for him at the end of the 80’s when Dave heard from the first Chicago and UK Acid House heroes like Adonis and Baby Ford. His interest in Techno and House devoloped more and more in 1991 due listening to diverse Berlin radio shows, club experiences like TRESOR and - since 1993 - E-WERK, that lead him to serious record collecting in the following. 

Subsequently his DJ career started in 1994 in the German Eastside in Rostock, where he also begun his studies in construction industries. He got his first bookings in leading Clubs of Germany’s North-East like MS STUBNITZ and MAU (HRO) together with the Berlin DJ-nomenclatura. This contacts brought him back to the Spree capitol, where one of the TRESOR HEADQUARTER DJs invited him to TRESOR’S “Headquarter / New Faces” event nights on regular Wednesdays. So he quickly developed a certain love for a style that was ranging between heavily grooving an minimal styles, also based on the deeper shades of Detroit’s Techno blueprint and the hard and funky Chicago stuff as well. From 1998 on he became a regular player at the “Headquarter/ New Faces” nights at the Tresor basement. From 2001 till the end of the 1st Tresor phasis in early 2003 people could often hear him under his alias DAVE DuMONTE at the legendary OSTGUT CLUB parties and the HEILIGENDAMM Area. At that place a DJ and booker from Zürich (CH) took notice of Dave and invited him to the famous SPIDERGALAXY club in Zürich, where DJs used to play long running of 8 hours minimum.
