Told to wait for something great, if I resist this soft, sweet fellow.
Tick-tock goes the little clock, and my tummy's in rebellion,
"It's just one puff of sugary stuff," says the devil to this small hellion.

Now I'm grown, the stakes have flown, from candies to grander visions,
Choices weigh like gourmet buffets, life's a chef with tough decisions.
Should I splurge, or should I purge, my cravings for instant pleasure?
With every bite, might lose or might gain, a treasure beyond measure.

Then comes a day, in a soft dismay, I grab that marshmallow,

Chris Drabble, based in the Northwest of England, is a rock guitarist who has over 50 years of playing experience.
With nearly 50K streams on SoundCloud in the last 12 months being a mixture of Guitar Rock and softer Ambient instrumental tracks, Chris is now ramping up his rock guitar work with his latest album ‘Foot to the Floor’, which harks back to his youth when rock guitar tracks had a catchy opening riff, and was the sort exciting music you felt you had to tap your foot to. 
His influences include Rush, Led Zeppelin, The Police, Simple Minds, Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani and Jimi Hendrix. He is currently listening to Porcupine Tree, Dream Theatre.
