Gerard Frank Long (Sugar Plump Fairy) is the host (and resident DJ) of Bruno Disco in Melbourne. Former incarnations include both The Outpost and MARY! Disco.

Javi Frias is a well respected DJ and producer from the disco and house scene. He began collecting and playing records as a young ‘soul boy' at the end of the nineties in Madrid, his hometown, and since then he has not stopped traveling to share his music through many venues, clubs and festivals worldwide. New York, Cairo, London, Mexico City, Paris, Barcelona, Washington DC, Amsterdam or Berlin are some of the places where he has had the opportunity to carry out his incendiary, eclectic and danceable sets full of disco, boogie, afro, funk, house and soulful sounds.

In the past few years he has begun to make noise at international level thanks to his edits and reworks, published a handful of EPs and singles on influential labels like Street Edits, Tropical Disco Records, Giant Cuts, Midnight Riot, Boogie Café or Bons Records. His music is played and charted regularly by top DJs such Danny Krivit, Detroit Swindle, Red Greg, Horse Meat Disco, Jacques Renault, Rahaan, Marcel Vogel, Folamour, Get Down Edits, Frank Booker...

In 2017 he started his own label Night Shift Records, devoted to edits and reworks of disco and house, where he has released in vinyl and digital his own productions and occasionally the work of other fellow producers. He's also part of the mysterious Disco Pocho label, focused on the soul and funk side of the disco edit, where he has already released a couple of 7”.

He is currently resident DJ and booker of Discotizer, the best disco, boogie and house party in Spain, where he has invited and shared the decks with artists like Louie Vega, Joey Negro, Danny Kirivit, Eli Soul Clap, Detroit Swindle, Rahaan, Red Greg, HMD, Eli Escobar, Dan Shake, Medlar, Jacques Renault, Get Down Edits, Marcel Vogel, Ron Basejam, Art Of Tones, Luxxury, Alkalino, Eddie C, Faze Action, Dicky Trisco, The Revenge, Mr. Mendel, Alexander Nut, Ray Mang, Kon, Luke Solomon, Melvo Baptiste, Dr. Packer...

John Pants came kicking and screaming out of the punk hardcore scene in Adelaide in the late 90s playing in various doom ridden, detuned, distorted projects which supported huge amounts of international acts. Until the glitz and glamour of the Melbourne nightlife sucked him across the border and saw him playing in notoriously iconic disco punk outfits: The Blow Waves and Der Kreis.

Merging his musical background John then created the HONCHO DISKO institution, celebrating subversive queer talent and providing supportive inclusive events Australia wide for the past decade.

HONCHO DISKO is a renowned national event across Australia, operating in Melbourne for close to a decade, in Sydney for over seven years and countless events in Adelaide, Brisbane and many other cities. HONCHO DISKO has toured international acts such as Amanda Lepore, The Boulet Brothers, Brooke Candy and Crystal Methyd to name just a few.

After a move to Sydney Australia during the blip in the matrix and continual ongoing HONCHO DISKO events John Pants created another brand - Woody’s running events across Sydney and Melbourne tailored for Big Boy Bears, Kingz, Queens and everything in betweens.

John Pants has now returned to Melbourne where he created: The Tubs - a weekly Sunday sauna session at Wet On Wellington - giving you the ultimate ion the bathhouse experience.

John Pants can be found playing fun disco, hot cruising mixes and pumpin late night sets anywhere that sweats and sparkles.

John Pants also forms one half of super sized DJ duo - HONCHO DISKO alongside his
musical partner in crime Luke Ryan. HONCHO DISKO DJ’s play main room pumping
disco and house and are focused for the main stage at a festival playing the likes of
Mary's Poppin in Adelaide and Barba.
