Southchurch are a fresh young band from Southend with an indie garage sound that combines haunting voices, organic instruments and garage grooves. Working alongside renowned producer Livingstone Brown they have developed as accomplished musicians and UK beat makers.

Southchurch have released 7 singles; We Touchin’ Now, Can We Just Try, Stand and Fall, The Drop, M.F.D.S.G. and their current single Fading which Maxi Priest.

‘The Drop’ saw Southchurch collaborate for the first time with singer Sonna Rele and rapper Jords to produce a melodic and infectious slice of summer pop grooves. The collaboration has produced a video that has been widely shared on Youtube and Facebook.

M.F.D.S.G took a step into a slightly dark pop direction and was picked up by Mastercard and used as part of their advertisement for “The Brits Are Coming 2018”.

Southchurch featured on a summer single by DJ Sponge called ‘Weekend Love’. The song was co-written by the band and the campaign sa Southchurch, DJ Sponge, and Flukes of Crazy Cousinz join forces to create an uplifting house anthem. Te track received radio attention from Charlie Hedges and the Dixon Brothers of Kiss FM.

Fading, their second collaboration, features the worldwide respected Maxi Priest. The record brings together two different music backgrounds to create a clever uplifting summer hit. A remix package has been released alongside it with remixes from Flukes of Crazy Cousinz, Chakra Beats and Drifta. Fading has had attention from various radio local and mainstream stations including Capital XTRA, BBC Introducing Essex, Funky SX. Southchurch were invited to play at a Sofar Sounds session at SLAM in London’s King’s Cross which was attended by a large percentage of the Sofar leaders from around the world including the founders.

Southchurch have already hosted their own sell out headline show and played various clubs, venues and festivals such as TALK (formally Totts 2000), BBC Introducing (Harlow), The Bedford (Balham), FRUKT’s event The Fix (London), Chinnery’s (Southend), Hop Farm Festival (Kent), Osea Island Festival (Maldon), The Palace Theatre (Westcliff), and In The Park Festival (Southend) to name a few. On top of that they headlined one of London’s most famous clubs Cargo in Shoreditch ahead of their “Fading” release.

Southchurch were named BBC Introducing Essex Sound of 2017 and are being championed by the local radio station producer and presenter Ollie Winiberg.

Rocheii combine epic, shimmering guitars with a funked up rhythm section to create a jagged, left field British pop sound.

With Calvin's breathy, raspy vocal style and with ‘melodies coming out of their pores’ (Good Froth Blog) Rocheii have ‘an epic soundscape that sounds brilliant from first track to last' (Backseatmafia). 

Rocheii was formed in 2014 by Manchester born singer/songwriter Calvin Roche who, new to London, searched online for band members to play with and found drummer Alex Lewis, lead guitarist Dan Yates and bassist Sam Mercer to complete the line-up.

Rocheii's music has been featured on Hollyoaks and they are set to release their EP on The Animal Farm label on the 25th March 2016.
