My Original Instrumental Soundtrack Music

Again

Originally this song was inspired by the sounds coming out of my radiator. I recorded the sound and wrote a song around it. I then shared it and one of my favorite artists around, MRK asked if she could write some words and sing on it. Well I was really honored and of course said yes and magic ensued! This song, now called, "Special Chances" will be the soundtrack to an upcoming experimental super 8 film I'm making. That film is now called Special Chances and if this fun musical collaboration continues (fingers crossed) , I think it should be called SPECIAL CHANCES!  :)Hope you like it!

Time

A song about a fisherman in Ireland in the 1890s who gets caught in a storm in the early morning hours. His boat capsizes and after a battle for his life, he eventually succumbs to become one with the ocean. While he is descending eternally, he sees his love who sings him a lullaby. This song was written by Chris Carlone in collaboration with Hilde Susan Jaegtnes who played piano and came up with the vocal melody

The voices you here are from a one act play by John Patrick Shanley called Down and Out. The voices are myself and Deirdre O'Keefe.

Here is a sound design piece I made for my Butoh performance, "WORDS COMING INTO MIST" performed in Austin Texas on Friday October 20th at Co-Lab as part of the art show GOOD MORNING TIS OF THEE. This is a mash up of opera, Tuvan throat singing, sound effects and bagpipes.
