Max RubaDub, better known as „The Remix Junkie“ releases his personal milestone. After years of remixing for labels and artists from all over the world, he finally found time to sit down and work on his producer-album. Featuring voices like Luciano, Gappy Ranks, Voicemail or Lutan Fyah this LP brings along a high musical diversity. On 16 tracks he mixes all the different colors which Jamaican Bass music has to offer. Whether it is rub-a-dub, hiphop, steppers, dancehall or one-drop, Max dedicates his debut-album to the love of music.

Max RubaDub is truly unique. Like no one else, he mixes danceable beats with fresh vocals - whether it is mash up, dancehall, reggae or hip-hop - focussing on groovy music that keep your dancing feet moving; always surrounded by the Jamaican vibe. He plays what he likes and whatever makes the party going crazy; also new genres such as afrobeats or even shatta.

Having gained a lot of experience, Max knows exactly how to crank up the party and how to excite the party crowd anywhere. But this DJ is also an entertainer: with his hot sets, he is a welcome guest in the clubs and one of the most booked selectors in Switzerland.

He started his career as a member of the well-known Riot Soundsystem, with which he travelled all-over Switzerland and its neighbouring countries. But also as a solo DJ he managed to gain publicity by creating internationally acclaimed remixes for names as Chali 2na or Cypress Hill and by releasing mixtape series.

Meanwhile, the name Max RubaDub stands for quality. A further project is the SoundMax-Studio, in which he is experimenting and working on his latest remixes, is recording different artists or is refining his newest productions. He released his own music on several international labels such as Irish Moss Records (IR), Cast-a-Blast (GR), Gideon Production (CH), Superfly (PL) Ranking Reggae (CH) or on his own RubaDub Blends (CH).

The future seems to be bright: there are already new productions and mixes raring to be released and as usual Max RubaDub is willing to demonstrate his DJ-skills in the clubs. Watch out!

Max RubaDub ist ein Unikum. Wie kein zweiter mixt er tanzbare Beats mit freshen Vocals, egal ob Mash Up, Dancehall, Reggae oder Hip Hop, Hauptsache, der Sound groovt und geht direkt in die Beine. Der rote Faden ist der jamaikanische Vibe. Dabei macht Max auch vor Stilarten wie Afrobeats oder Shatta nicht Halt. Gespielt wird was gefällt – und abgeht!

Max RubaDub gelingt es dank seiner langjährigen Erfahrung, die Party zur rocken, welche diesen Namen auch verdient und die TänzerInnen landauf und -ab zu begeistern. Hier wird der DJ zum Entertainer: Mit seinen brandheissen Sets ist er gern gesehener Gast in den Clubs und einer der am meisten gebuchten Plattenaufleger der Schweiz.

Seine Karriere als DJ begann Max als Teil des Riot Soundsystems, mit dem er die ganze Schweiz und das nahe Ausland bereiste und manchen Dance zum Kochen brachte. Auch solo konnte er rasch für Furore sorgen, u.a. mit international beachteten Remixen für Namen wie Cypress Hill oder Chali 2na und seine diversen Mixtape-Serien. Dabei hat sich der Name Max RubaDub zum Synomin für Qualität entwickelt.

Ein weiteres Projekt ist das SoundMax-Studio, in welchem er an seinen Remixen arbeitet, verschiedene Künstler aufnimmt und an seinen eigenen Produktionen feilt, welche er bereits auf internationalen Labels wie Irish Moss Records (IR), Cast-a-Blast (GR), Gideon Production (CH), Superfly (PL) Ranking Reggae (CH) und seinem eigenen RubaDub Blends (CH) veröffentlichen konnte.

Reggae Roast, one of the UKs leading Reggae Soundsystems & party starters, have forged a reputation as the leading light in the resurgence of the British Reggae, putting on some of the best parties and festival stages across the country. Having recently signed to the world famous Trojan Records they are at the forefront of the UK Reggae and Bass Music scene.

Reggae Roast’s first release on Trojan, went straight in at #1 on the Juno Reggae charts, while getting good radio support from the likes of David Rodigan (1 Xtra) and Ras Kwarme (Capitol Xtra) and Don Letts (6 Music), while their follow up single ‘Real Reggae Music’ featuring the legendary Tippa Irie, was included in the Trojan Records 50th Anniversary box set, selling thousands of copies. 

2019 will see them pick up were they left off with releases on Trojan Reloaded featuring  General Levy, Rankin Joe, Mr Williamz, Burro Banton, Charlie P and many more.

In 2015 Reggae Roast built their own custom Soundsystem pushing the boundaries of soundsystem aesthetics, taking soundsystem design into the 21st century. Their soundsystem remains the cornerstone of their events and with it they have run stages at prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury, Outlook Festival (Croatia), Secret Garden Party, Eastern Electric, Boomtown, Telerama Dub Festival (France) and many more. 

At their events they have hosted some of the biggest names in Reggae including  Horace Andy, The Wailers, Lee Scratch Perry, Sly and Robbie, Collie Budz, Mad Professor, David Rodigan, Suggs (Madness), Channel One, Trojan Sound, Gappy Ranks, Finley Quaye, Aba Shanti I, Mungo’s Hi Fi and many many more. 

Reggae Roast have built a strong fanbase over the years with nearly 200,000 social media followers. They have racked up over 8 million plays on Soundcloud alone and their monthly podcasts receives 10s of thousands of plays. They have played all over the world from India and Thailand to the UK and back. This year they were personally asked by Shy FX and Chase & Status to play at their events.

Reggae Roast are dedicated to bringing reggae and soundsystem culture to a new generation and are steadily building a formidable catalogue of releases and achievements.

Reanno Gordon P/K/A Busy Signal (born January 24),  is one of dancehall/reggae's most prolific artistes. He was born in the garden parish of St Ann where he was first introduced to music by his grandparents who took him to church.

Busy Signal later moved to areas in West and East Kingston such as Tivoli Gardens, Papine, Spanish Town before migrating to the United States. A past student of Brown's Town Comprehensive High School, Busy Signal's love affair with music continued.  He performed for his peers at school, beating his fists in time on his desk and deejaying Bounty Killer's songs (he claims to know all of Bounty's lyrics) before progressing to his own material.

Known as one of the artistes leading the contemporary dancehall movement, Busy Signal has been a large part of the scene since 2003. His first hit single, "Step Out", was one of the most popular dancehall songs in 2005.

His debut album Step Out was released a year later in 2006 with excellent reviews. With questions arising about his unusual moniker, Busy Signal explained that he got the nickname from his friends because he was constantly busy.

As his popularity grew, so did his catalogue. In 2007/2008, he released several hit singles including "Nah Go A Jail Again", "Smoke Some High Grade", "Tic Toc" and the track entitled "Unknown Number". September 22, 2008, Busy Signal released his second studio album titled Loaded, a 15 track compilation of VP Records of well known dancehall hits such as "Jail," "Whine Pon Di Edge," "These Are the Days,"  as well as never-heard-before exclusive tracks such as "People So Evil" and "Hustle Hard."

He also appeared on the lead single of international stars No Doubt's Push and Shove album.

On May 21, 2012, Busy Signal was arrested at the Norman Manley International Airport in Jamaica due to an an extradition warrant from the U.S.A, just weeks after the release of his latest studio album and first authentic reggae album - Reggae Music Again. He was however, released on November 16, 2013 after which his name was legally changed to Reanno Devon Gordon. After months of incarceration, Busy Signal maintained that it was the prayers and support of his family and friends which kept him going. 

Just months after his release, Busy Signal was once again thrust into the spotlight with the release of Bumaye (Watch Out Fi Dis) with Major Lazer. 

The single has been one of his most successful to date. It made its way to the Billboard charts before being certified Platinum by the International Federation of the Photographic Industry (IFPI) in Denmark.

The artiste also formed his own record label titled Turf Music Entertainment which has been extremely successful and pivotal in the artiste's career.

With promoters clamoring to book Busy Signal in Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, the artiste spends the majority of his time on tours, spreading reggae and dancehall music.

Having already embarked on several tours since the beginning of the year, Busy Signal is now gearing up to for the upcoming carnival season where he has already voiced a plethora of soca-infused songs.

He has always approached his craft from a different perspective, not trodding the usual road of trying to voice on many rhythms in order to try and catch a break. Instead, Busy chose to record songs with concepts attached to them on purpose-built rhythms and as such as garnered countless fans which he interacts with on a regular basis on his social media pages.
