The Greek aficionado VieL has firmly established himself amongst the finest of melodic movers. Through opulent offerings on Do Not Sit, Tale & Tone, and Hoomidas, he peruses a distinct blend of lush groove, soaring emotive, and electronic entities. After gracing us with an incredible collaborative project alongside Madraas, the Vires EP, and later a solo piece in the form of It’s You on our Tales of Romance series, we’re thrilled to have him back on TOR during the peak of summer.

Cognitive Empathy opens with a fruity house groove and playful basslines. The glossy vocal eases in, providing the framework for delicate melodies to float over the punchy arrangements. The track lightens as we approach the pinnacle, letting the groove carry elevating emotions.

Alongside a collab with fellow roster artist OHMZ, the solo version of “Shining” radiates pure piano melodies among lush atmos and smooth percussion.

Mariner + Domingo debut on Chris Cargo’s If You Wait with ‘Maasai Mara’. The US duo has an extensive history in electronic music, dating all the way back to the early nineties when the Florida club scene was a centre hub for the movement. Fast forward over 25 years and Mariner & Domingo have been releasing their emotive brand of progressive house through label’s like Balkan Connection, Colorize and Massive Harmony Records. Now continuing what has been a great summer for the duo, Mariner + Domingo present their debut single for If You Wait alongside a remix from Weird Sounding Dude.

Past releases have shown the duo’s affinity for crafting all things deep and musical. That trend continues on ‘Maasai Mara’ which goes down as one of their most engaging pieces to date. A narrative of Mediterranean motifs gets intertwined with billowing bass tones, exotic percussion and wistful overlays for a gorgeous eight minute journey. Acting as the emotional core, a centrepiece piece of beautifully processed drums adds a subtle tension, before shifting energy into a heavenly final movement.

Domingo + Loveclub are two separate producers, however they are brothers Chris & Perry Domingo. In the 90's they wrote many records and toured together for years. Perry left the scene years ago to raisea family. Chris continued and has had great success with his last duo Mariner + Domingo. After over a decade, Perry dusted off his gear and rejoined his brother to start writing again. They have quickly climbed the music industry ladder by having several top 10 releases on labels - Songuara, Stellar Fountain, 3rd Avenue, Amulanga, Tale & Tone and a forthcoming EP soon to hit the market on Melody Of The Soul. Together, they continue to DJ and produce quality music and their 30 years of experience in the industry is paying off in the end.
