John Gilbride is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His sound mixes elements of folk and alternative rock acts similar to The Head and the Heart, The Lumineers and Dr. Dog, with the sophistication and honesty of songwriters like Ray LaMontagne and Glen Hansard. A song may make you cry and connect to your most vulnerable self. Another will bring you a profound respect for the beautiful complexities of life. “Paved Roads', their first studio album, was released in June 2019. In May of 2021, in Camden, NJ, the band performed and recorded a concert film and live performance album entitled “John Gilbride & Friends: Live at the Waterfront South Theatre" in support of small venues and the arts during the pandemic. The band plans to release the first two singles off of their next studio album this Spring, with a summer tour to support them and a full length album to come out at the beginning of the Fall 2024.
