Any Time At All (live)

I’ve decided to remaster some albums and tracks that have already been released.  Just felt I could give them a different kinda sound...

I import the audio files into the daw and then usually load one or more processors of some kind (vinyl, compressor, desk emulations etc) on the stereo master buss. This is configured to colour, shape the sound. My versions are sometimes lower in vol level than the originals. Some releases are hot to signal, but I'm looking for an inherent sound.

Sometimes I apply some chamber and or hall reverb.

I slowed Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds down a half step to its realtime speed as recorded, likewise I sped he’s Leaving Home up a half step, to the same effect. 
I edited Within You/Without You in three places, to remove some lyrics which were untrue/naive, here they are,

First verse,

Never glimpse the truth,

I edited out, we could save the world.

I took out the first chorus,

Try to realise it's all within yourself,

and also the second (last) chorus,

When you've seen beyond yourself then you may find,
Peace of mind is waiting there,
And the time will come when you see we're all one,
And life flows on within you and without you

For the remist I retitled the track from Within You Without You to Within You/Without You.

I decided to include You Know My Name (Look Up the Number) as the last track. This was recorded over three sessions (in May and June ’67), the first commencing a month after the last recording session for Sgt. Pepper’s. The outro features Brian Jones on alto saxophone.

I made edits to Across The Universe, took out the lyrics,

There's some pagan references with the names here, to different pagan religions, not saying John was pagan, he wasn't, just lacked a little perception on this one. But not on many other things eh?
These names are also heard over the outro of the original (without the Om), I faded the track out before this.
(Interestingly David Bowie also took out these lyrics on his version of Across The Universe, on the Young Americans album, 1975).

-Hey Don Felder did you know that my father named a character after you in The Plumber* (1979). Not too many people have the name Don Felder, I haven't heard of anyone else. Peter saw your name on one of The Eagles albums as I recall it, thought why not use that name for one of the anthropologists in the film, the American guy. 
But I think you and the other Eagles can take it as a homage from him.

This is me having fun playing along to various tunes. Mostly Beatles songs or rock from the last couple decades, and some songs of my own. Just me through a Scarlett audio interface, using audacity and reason, featuring electric/acoustic guitar, bass, keys/piano, electric drums, some various misc.  percussion, harmonica, clarinet, sax and vocals.  Any strings/brass you hear is recorded using my a keyboard as a midi controller.  The photo is my home "studio!" what you hear is what you get, which hopefully is something you enjoy!  Cheers!
