Boops Apocalypse - Harvey K-Tel

This little gem is from back in 2003, way before Omegaman. One of my best buddies Andy Travers & I worked on a bunch of tracks - we were known as NEMO (before the Disney movie)- we spent our days crate digging for lounge samples & funky beats. HEY! was done on an old Atari ST computer with external midi sound modules (Korg, Ensoniq + an Akai sampler) + Greg Dean playing some super cheezy keys - all bounced down through a sound desk to cassette (it was the perfect soundtrack for my old 1960's Hillman Minx.) We did some great tunes back then along with the master of midi & keys Phil Grove, the lovely vocals of Linda Janssen - the artwork for this is by the incredibly talented Nigel O'Neill - enjoy!

Newcastle meets Lisbon in this crazy funk bossa
rockabilly bomb. A track that was originally born in
Lisbon (Portugal) by Dedy Dread and transported
through space landing on Newcastle (U.K) soil to be
treated with the unmistakable drum hellish sound of
smov. The final result being this crazy ass shaking
bossa funk rockabilly jazz dance bomb!
