S Strong - Return of the Mambo

Steve Cantrill aka ‘Moss’ is a producer from Cornwall, England who creates sunshine sounds in his garden shed studio under the name Daytoner.

Daytoner fuses live instrumentation with samples in his own unique manner chopping Latin, Soul, Jazz, Blues and Breaks into the mix. For ‘On My Own’, the vocal talents of Newquay based singer-songwriter, Jane Kennaway were employed to smoothly deliver Daytoner’s new lyrics, written especially to fit this classic Latin groove. Having previously released on Wack, Club Tikka/Muto and Carnibal Records, this 12" vinyl / Digital release is his debut on Wass Records.

The 'On My Own' EP comes packed with tight remixes from DJ Andy Taylor, Renegades Of Jazz and Mr Bird. Released on 12" Vinyl and Digital Download on 16.07.2012 from http://www.kudosrecords.co.uk/results/label/Wass+Records.html
