Day 23 - I wanted to revisit the raw writing and recording style of the Vibrant reset demos, in which most songs were written and recorded in one or two days. This song was made quick and the lyrics came easily as a stream of consciousness. 

The original demos were heavily influenced by Car Seat headrest at the time, but I didn't understand the lineage of Car Seat Headrest taking influence from Pixies. I specifically wanted to capture a lot of the lightning in a bottle moments from Trompe le Monde, like Head On which in turn I think took a lot from the Ramones.

Overall, I think I came back to this musical style with a much better understanding of where my sound was coming from. Coupled with "slightly" better production, Im pretty happy with this overall. The drums and guitar get pretty messy and eventually just fall apart at the end because I really am just playing freestyle. You can kind of think of this song as a freestyle rap but using altrock!

Well, it took about over 5 months but it's finally done! I think this might be the first song I actually put out that sounds cohesive. Got massive inspiration from the Acid-Notation remix of the original. Lovin the vibes on this one. Hope y'all enjoy!
