Inspelad mellan eldhjärtat i Bastuträsk och den isblå stillheten i Latnivaara.
Det här albumet fångar den råa, levande pulsen av Nordic Soul Syndicate i sin mest organiska form – när kylan möter funken, och när jazzen andas genom den nordliga frosten.

Efter trettio plattor och otaliga sessions har bandet återvänt till grunderna:
en handfull mikrofoner, en publik som andas i takt, och den där elektriska nerven som uppstår när allt kan hända.

Bastuträsk Blasphemy (Live 1989) och Extreme Jazzual Blasphemy öppnar som frusna dokument från en annan tid – arkeologiska upptagningar av syndikatets första jazzritualer.
Sedan följer ett glittrande töväder av nyskrivna och återuppväckta låtar:
What’s That Sound?, Desert Moon Serenade och Frost Symphony smälter samman i ett hypnotiskt nordiskt groove.

Mystic Lady (Jazz 130 Festival) och Crazy Lady (Instrumental Live) visar hur gamla teman kan anta nya skepnader – den ena med andlig hetta, den andra med kylig precision.
I Chaos in the City Beat blandas urban puls med tundrans tystnad, innan allt exploderar i Carnaval Apokalyps och Liquid Encore.

Avslutningen, Crazy Lady (Funk Live Edit), är mer än en låt – den är en blinkning till allting som varit, och till allt som fortfarande vibrerar i norrskensljuset.

The Latnivaara Freeze är en liveplatta, men också ett tillstånd.
