In early November, we were up in Brooklyn for a night at https://soundcloud.com/kinfolklife. We had the best time DJing and dancing all night with so many good friends. Breixo Martínez aka Abu Sou is a member of the DJ crew of the Barcelona store Discos Paradiso, also the presenter and director of Canela En Surco. The show became a record label with the reissue of “Universo da Ilha” by Vasco Martins one year ago and now they’re going to release a compilation of the spanish electronic pioneer Alex Martín. 

He’s been throwing parties in Barcelona as Canela En Surco since 7 years bringing House music acts from the likes of Deep88, DJ Nature, Volcov, Marcellus Pittman, Lakuti, Kai Alcé, and many more. 

Breixo was born in Galicia but he has lived in Barcelona since 2007. He spends most of his life searching for different sounds but when he plays at night he’s focused on playing House music.
