Electronic music producer from the west of France who mainly makes Drum & Bass. DarKYYComet is attracted by future and experimental breaks but tends to say his music is the link between old, mid and new school, blends underground with mainstream musical genres to give his sound a unique approach. He's been producing for about four years now and listening to D&B since the age of 19 years old, released his first two tracks on Nu Venture Records in 2021 and now very excited to release for 2023-2025 on PZYCCO Recs., Vahana Records, Subplate Recordings, Stoic Music, C Recordings, Riot Records, Interstellar Audio, Influenza Media and Outer Edge Audio. Vypes combines modern heavy dance music with a moody dystopian twist. Add his virtuoso skills as a guitarist and you have a combination which has never been seen before in this corner of music.

His first 2 years as a releasing artist have been very eventful. Being supported by Rene LaVice in his BBC radio 1 show, a booking at NOX (one of the biggest bass events in the Netherlands) and praise from some of the bigger names in the scene being some of his milestones.

His debut EP “Skyline” showcases not only his skills to create individual tracks of high quality, but also his ability to create a coherent story as one work of art. Skyline takes you through a musical journey. From the apocalyptical cacophony which is “Renegade” to the melancholic ravey “Want You Back”. Vypes has found his voice, and will continue to push and develop it.
