The name Chroma has echoed through the drum and bass community since their output as a collaborative project. 
Individually, they’ve already been hosted by a number of pronounced record labels, being met by critical acclamation from across the business. But returning to underground tastemaker Program, Chroma’s next production will resonate in your minds for a while. Their style has ensured longevity, whilst dipping into the futuristic sounds that makes contemporary drum and bass so forward thinking. And trust us, this one is no different.
Rolling out first is ‘201 Dub’ which highlights the trios consistency at putting out heartfelt bass-slabs that can reach an intimidating depth of musicality. Plucky, powerful and precisely laid out, this track leaves a lasting impression for the whole release. Beginning with a skit that lays beneath its structure, you’re instantly aware of the ragga-style vocal that fades between carefully constructed beat patterns. Enticing you further into the mix, its driving pace never fluctuates yet continuously holds the wraithlike vibe which Chroma seem to conjure seamlessly.  
A record that quivers with power and with a bassline that reverberates throughout, ‘Sovereign’ continues with the same authority. At times you’re caught unaware by its drifting humanism and the slight nod to the record’s softer elements. This track opens their repertoire like a door, with the insistent kick of drums and skip of sample which weaves between loops of the amen break.  Peppered with dynamic riff patterns, commanding your attention, the record is broken up by thoughtful breaks. As a result, they give you time to reflect on the versatility that Chroma is renowned for.
Going beyond the prototype and establishing themselves as a formidable force within the genre, this isn’t the last you’ll hear from the trio.

DIASCOPE 002 is here.
While celebrating  and reflecting the past 10 years of Neonlight we came across of six tracks that have been released around 2009 and 2010 on Trust in Music. 

Regretfully the label does not exist anymore. So we decided to remaster these pretty cool tracks and make them available for everyone again.

For us every track is connected to memories and personal stories.  The Frozen Tape (formerly named as "frozen feet" - because of Jakob's freeeking cold flat share room in 2005), System Error (collaboration with the extremely talented Hedj - miss you bro - R.i.P.), Dessert (good times and vibes with Miss Redflower), Epidemic & Enter (first online collaboration buddy RolaR) and last but not least THE BLACKOUT (timezone collaboration hustle with Kiro from California) may recall good memories for the ones, or be completely new for the others. 

However, we hope you (still) like it as we do. :-)

Hey you! Yeah you with that cheeky about-to-go-back-to-work face. Wipe away the tears of joy at your first bookings in half a year, forget lockdown even existed and chow down on some fully-fresh produce from one of the most exciting breakthrough duos to emerge in recent D&B years, PRFCT Mandem. 
A girl/boy Manchester-based duo who accelerated to fame on Bloc2Bloc in 2019, PRFCT Mandem made such an impression on the Korsakov Music bossman AL/SO when they submitted a track to the label’s recent ‘Future Stars’ collection he snapped them up for a whole EP. That EP was their hair-raising debut release ‘Formation’ back in June. 
Now fully formed, fully refreshed and fully stocked with more sparkling gully juice, they reload with ‘Hyperdrive’, their most brazen and comprehensive EP to date. The clue is in the title; this is fast lane tackle designed solely for those first big dances many of us are getting to play over the coming months. From the tightly coiled robotic spring and sci-fi sheen of opener ‘Conflict’ to the big dancefloor hook and mechanical funk of the title track, there’s no hiding from the Irish/Latvian duo’s sheer weight and production obscenity. 
Other tricks they have up their Hyperdriven sleeves include the ironically-titled yet fully devilish 4/4 stomper ‘Stay Quiet’, the raffish head-turning diesel turbine bass funk of ‘Contact’ and the finessed finale ‘Innosense’. A step back from the crazy chaos of the rest of the EP, this one concludes the release sweetly and subtly with a springy, purring alien bass slinking in and out of a pared back steppy rhythm. Once again, don’t believe the title… There’s nothing innocent about the sounds PRFCT Mandem are cooking up right now. And we suspect there’s nothing innocent about you either. YANA Music is more than excited to unleash "Always In Motion", the highly-anticipated new collaboration between Toronto Is Broken and Deuce & Charger after their massive 2019 dancefloor banger "Pressure".  With over 250,000 streams on Spotify alone and support from the scene's heavyweight club and radio DJs, "Pressure" was undoubtedly one of last year's biggest drum & bass tunes.  Following it up was a tall order, but thankfully they have delivered and then some on "Always In Motion".

Continuing to combine his loves of metal and drum & bass, Toronto Is Broken's thundering live drums and distorted guitars are perfectly juxtaposed with Deuce & Charger's emotive vocals and melodic synth work in the verse.  The two production styles then collide to awesome effect in the build with a huge earworm synth riff; one that's destined to be chanted in clubs and at festivals once we fully return to business.  The track's full energy is finally released with a surging drop; the guitars and synths riding on top of super-tight drums, before the insistent vocal hook returns to implant itself in your head.

"Always In Motion" is the third single from Toronto Is Broken’s forthcoming third album "Clare", which marks a new chapter in the Toronto Is Broken sound.  The fusing of low-tuned guitars and live drums with cutting-edge drum & bass energy and precision heard on previous single "Reminisce" is taken to even greater levels on "Always In Motion".  Anticipation levels are quickly rising for the new album and his music from this point on.  For Deuce & Charger meanwhile, "Always In Motion" highlights their deft musicality; the release being an inspired left-turn from their super-melodic sound best encapsulated on this summer's huge "First Light EP" (Lost Together Music), which Data Transmission said made them "a force to be reckoned with in the global dance music scene".

As the hype, schedule and promotional campaign for Toronto Is Broken’s forthcoming, genre-nullifying third album begins to ramp up and skyrocket, we’ve been treated to a real humdinger in the form of a new remix from the expressive, aggressive sonic minds of the exciting, upcoming SyRan duo. Taking the form of  the third single on the highly-promising, imminent ‘Clare’ album, the original cut saw YANA Music head-honcho Toronto Is Broken link up with with the emotive, illustrious singer/producer duo Deuce & Charger for a multi-faceted, wholly unique hybrid of Metalcore and Drum & Bass; a high-octane combination that we’re definitely keen to hear more of.

Then, in come SyRan. The gritty Peterborough-based pairing have seen a stratospheric rise as of late, implementing and showcasing a heralded style of impaling, cataclysmic Jungle-influenced 174 that has been tearing off heads left, right and centre.
