Uns kam zu Ohren, Wien sei das „neue Leipzig“? Dieser waghalsigen These gilt es auf die Spur zu gehen – hören wir also mal ganz genau in Igelkarussell-Runde #89 mit MataHari und Volker Arnold hinein!
Die beiden Wiener sind Teil der Crews Journey to Tarab & Immer mit der Ruhe. Auf dem diesjährigen Tarmac Festival haben sie zusammen mit Düsentrieb ein legendäres Set zelebriert. Wer es noch nicht kennt - Reinhören lohnt sich.

Kurzweiliger als in ihrem 3-stündigen Mix für uns ließe sich eine Reise wohl kaum gestalten: Direkt zurück in den Sommer katapultiert, werden eure Sinne hier durch eine sorgsam abgestimmte, wohltemperierte und aufeinander aufbauende Track-Auswahl geführt. Vocals und Harmoniewechsel immer genau an der richtigen Stelle, schenken die Jungs uns einen wahrlich groovigen Einstieg in die Adventszeit.

Gerade noch rechtzeitig, um dem wiederkehrenden Wahnsinn um uns herum mit Positivität und Ausgelassenheit zu trotzen! Danke euch beiden für die wohlverdiente Auszeit 🙌

In 2021 we will present the series »Unpublished Reports from Level 23«, which is based on the 2020 series »The Untold Stories of the Sinking Sea!«. The number 6 in this year and number 136 since the beginning in 2011, is from a young sailor, who has grown dear to my heart as a friend - AND - I think he is a talented producer and an upcoming artist: https://soundcloud.com/ouhana .

Our common history is still quite young and fresh and began on the roof of a rather tall skyscraper. I'm still very grateful for the weekend, the two-day birthday party and the encounters - because, among other things, I got to know this young sailor. He played his set right befor me and unfortunately I wasn't really able to perceive his set until the end. But, above all, I remember him with his open and very loving manner. Yes, well, it should take a while, he sailed out to sea, I stayed on land - only none of the other knew that and so it needed the Mannheim collective https://soundcloud.com/slowbar and Wiesogeradeschräg again to bring us on a Festival together. The hair was blowing in the wind, we laughed, had a casual time and played music together - this is how it feels when sailors are free and can do what they want: making music. Music, we process feelings and thoughts and can communicate through them - share them with you and dance to them. Sometimes a sailor has to go out to sea alone before he knows exactly where the journey should go - Richard aka Ouhana his journey to the sea should reflect exactly that and I think he has found the right tracks to capture this mood and make it audible. Thanks for that!

Es war kurz nach 10.
Die MainStage hatte gerade ihre letzten Töne von sich gegeben als sich eine kleine Menge an Leuten vor uns in der Jurte versammelte. Wir spielten schon seit etwas mehr als einer Stunde. 
Viertel nach 10 und wir stellen mit Erstaunen fest, dass niemand in dieser Jurte am reden war.
Die Augen waren geschlossen.
Barfüßig schwebten die Menschen über die Teppiche.
Kuschelnd lagen oder saßen sie im Raum verteilt.
Es war eine perfekte Landung.

Diese Nacht wird uns beiden noch sehr lange in schönster Erinnerung bleiben. 

Wir freuen uns die gefühlvollen Klänge der Entschleunigung, aus der Sonntagnacht, mit euch zu teilen und träumen uns und euch in die Jurte zurück.

Nothing presses here, no obligations, no struggles – just the endless play of light and waves. Sun-dust in every pore, warm air that dissipates. Palms cast patterns on the skin, thoughts drift like boats in the wind. Life dances everywhere, but very quietly – as if it wishes to disturb no one. And somewhere, in the shadow of a straw hat, music shimmers through the heat. Expansive spaces, deep sounds, melodies that desire nothing but to remain. Golden glasses clink briefly, laughter echoes back, then silence once more. Perhaps it rains elsewhere, perhaps a storm rages, perhaps it’s noisy. Here it is now – and that is enough. “Träge Stunden heller Tage, salzig schimmernd liegt das Meer. Zieht sich weich in blauen Falten, atmet ruhig und nimmt sich Zeit. Nichts drängt hier, kein Müssen, kein Mühen – nur das endlose Spiel von Licht und Wellen.
Sonnenstaub in jeder Pore, warme Luft, die sich verliert. Palmen werfen Muster auf die Haut, Gedanken treiben wie Boote im Wind. Überall tanzt das Leben, aber ganz leise – als wolle es niemanden stören.
Und irgendwo, im Schatten eines Strohhuts, flimmert Musik durch die Hitze. Weite Flächen, tiefe Klänge, Melodien, die nichts wollen außer bleiben. Goldne Gläser klirren kurz, ein Lachen hallt zurück, dann wieder Stille.
Anderswo regnet’s vielleicht, vielleicht tobt ein Sturm, vielleicht ist’s laut. Hier ist es jetzt – und das reicht. Und von ganz dort hinten weht eine Brise, trägt Klänge herüber, streichelt den Tag. Getreu dem Motto: Aspetta e vedrai."

Die letzten 60 Seasidetrip Episoden sind nicht ganz spurlos an eurem Käpt’n und seiner Crew vorbeigegangen - vieles Schönes ist dadurch entstanden und möchte gehegt und gepflegt werden, viele Anfragen erreichen uns per Flaschenpost, welche nicht schnell zu öffnen und zu beantworten sind, viele Briefmöwen sind unterwegs und verbreiten frohe Kunde und übermitteln Danksagungen, Verabredungen und die Pläne für neue Projekte. Und so kommt es, das wir ein wenig länger als gedacht, jedoch mit bedacht ausgedacht, in einem verborgenen Nothafen vor Anker gingen. Einen freundlichen Empfang boten uns dabei https://www.soundcloud.com/schrabatz/ und ließen uns die Zeit vergessen. Die beiden Klabauter sind ebenfalls weit gereiste und erprobte Seemänner und so gab es genug zu schnacken und Seemannsgarn zu spinnen, während wie die Rum-Vorräte der alten Werft im Nothafen leer tranken. Dabei drifteten wir hin und her und hoch und runter und dabei entstand dieser aussagekräftige 2 Stunden Mix. Und wie ließen uns schon die Altvorderen wissen: Gut Ding will Weile haben, so verweile und trink Rum! Ihr solltet JETZT 2h eurer Zeit, für einen weiteren Seasidetrip aufbringen und somit dem tristen Alltag entfliehen - wir sind Träumer, Utopisten und vor allem eins, soundhaftige Seemänner.

Gerade noch so und in letzter Sekunde kommt hier noch schnell was reingeflattert. Beim ersten Reinhören könnte man fast denken, dass die kältere und kuschligere Jahreszeit hier musikalisch angekündigt wird. Wohlig entspannt, plockert das Ding so schön vor sich hin, wie ne herzhaft, eingedickte Herbstsuppe auf der warmen Herdplatte. Könnte kaum besser schmecken bei den Temperaturen. 

Empfehlung vom Küchenchef @robin_dey höchstpersönlich, knusprig, frisch gebackenes Brot dazu. Wer braucht schon Clubs, wenn's Suppen gibt. Und nun allen einen guten Appetit.
