Christopher Ledger & Soms brought us a 74 mins music podcast with their unique and special touch. Somewhere between elegance, melancholia and yearning a silver lining of hope.

These two italian guys met up back in the 2014 in the wonderful city of Milan where Soms had just graduated at SAE while Christopher was studying music programmation (Max/MSP) and history and philosophy of music and art in a specialized institution.

Being both multidisciplinary artists and once having introduced each other to their approach and vision on art, the connection was instantaneous and kept growing in a very natural way as time passed.

Their collaboration goes on since several months and after different audio results, file exchanges and long talks on their visions and interests, they feel ready to put out their works anytime soon, releasing music mostly together but keeping their single artistic names.

Christopher Ledger’s close to perfection sound acts as a hook for all refined ears of the underground electronic music. 
The multidisciplinary artist’s background runs deep: his technical skills are built on classical composition study and his artistic calling can be felt in the mesmerizing emotional touch that can be felt throughout explorations. “Lost With K” sky-rocketed his name to fame and Christopher quickly started a solid foundation in the scene by launching his own label, “CL Series”, as well as other collaborations for Animae LTD -  Clouds/Anastrofe and soon to be Metonimia with Teluric at Mayak.

Vilod’s “Uncertain Grace” remix, though marginally more laidback than the flipside, is no less engaging. A buzzing beehive of activity powered by an organ-like refrain, this is one of those pieces that will induce a feeling of perpetual movement into even the most still of physical surroundings. This is especially true when, after four and a half minutes of flotation, a straight-ahead techno rhythm takes over and all the disparate hovering elements fall into place.

Kohl is the dub-based project of New York City artist and musician Nathaniel Young. With Kohl, Nathaniel focuses on enveloping melodies and sounds that are often contrasted with subtle and evolving minimal textures and the rhythmic patterns generated from them. The resulting music is contemplative and warm, invoking reflection while maintaining a sense of motion/evolution. The Kohl project is an outlet for personal transformation; it is Young rewiring his understanding of morality and ethics. Interpretations of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, ‘good’ and ‘evil’. Musically, Learned Ethics / Imposed Ethics is a fine collection of ultra-textural ambient pieces with minimal changes like "The Possibility Of The Infinite", slow tempo tracks like "Moral Supposition", the dance-floor focused "Resolution (Empathy)", and "The Inquisition", which displays Kohl’s signature dub-techno style.

Recorded and produced in summer 2016, NYC by Nathaniel Young. Vocal portions on tracks 3-4 contains dialogue between Nathaniel Young and Warren Mark Way.

Not to get all emotional and sentimental, but this prompt hits home for me. I’ve had a few run ins with the wide-eyed beast and the music of past Juntos has helped immensely in overcoming some of its tricks. The disquiet 0240- Emerging from a Drone in particular has at least a dozen tracks, that if played on vinyl would have been worn through from needle time. I’m not sure how many participants I’ve chatted with, but consider this another thank you to everyone here. I really can’t say how much this place, it’s people and their music have helped me through some dark times and sleepless nights.

I can only hope my little bits might do the same.

This is a simple piece based on a soon lost Alchemy patch, with live manipulation of the performance pads for a small amount of interest. I tried to start with a more interesting section and then flow into a longer repeating loop. A few minimal percussive elements are introduced, but mostly the high hat came through. This pattern is slowed slightly over time while concurrently the Alchemy patch is increasingly sent to a tape delay. Then underneath two Micrologue drone patches rise to take over for the ending. Nothing fancy just some E2, E3, and a bit of white noise to sooth and follow the Alchemy’s note beginnings. The title is Latin for rest.
Overall, some eq helped tame the occasional squawks and stereo delay and a small reverb add some space.
