The SMASHING PUMPKINS INFINITE SADNESS CONTEST will be along similar lines to previous cover song contests. But this time around, fans are asked to submit covers of their favorite Pumpkins originals spanning the MCIS/TAFH era (Late 1994-1997), from the earliest MCIS demos to TAFH b-sides. In addition to winning some great Pumpkins-related merch, the winners of the contest will earn a spot on Ghost Children And The Infinite Sadness, a digital EP that will be sold under a ‘pay what you can’ model, with any proceeds to be donated to Make-A-Wish. 6 spots are up for grabs, with the ‘Best Cover Song’ being awarded by selection committee, and the ‘Fan Favorite Cover’ being selected by you, the fans! We are also pleased to announce that BILLY CORGAN will once again be the special guest judge for the ‘Best New Interpretation’ category! The remaining spots will be filled by the first runner-ups in each category.

Another a capella cover from my college days- shout out to my dips, especially caitlyn who always performed this solo so beautifully!!! This was always one of my faves to perform- call me creepy but there was something so satisfying about scanning the audience for tears- I think I just loved knowing that the audience was receiving the heart and soul we were offering. Plus Jimmy Eat World is EVERYTHING. 

And another huge thank you to Chris Sauter of Sunrise Studios in Staten Island- hit the nail right on the head on the very first try, perfectly capturing my vision for this song!!!
