A California native, he comes from a lineage of U.S. citizens who were stripped of their constitutional rights and imprisoned behind barbed wire during World War II for no crime other than being Japanese.  Taiji leads API for CalCare.  With over four decades of experience as a grassroots empowerment activist and musician, Taiji has been involved in multiple social justice arenas, participated in numerous electoral campaigns and led voter mobilization efforts.

During this episode, Taiji reviews the latest health care related news and events effecting Asian and Pacific Islander communities, from health disparities to hate crimes, and emphasizing the need for CalCare (California Guaranteed Health Care for All Act).

OS (Operating System) là phần mềm quản lý toàn bộ phần cứng (CPU, RAM, thiết bị nhập/xuất) và phần mềm (chương trình, ứng dụng) của máy tính hoặc thiết bị di động. OS đóng vai trò quan trọng và đảm bảo hệ thống chạy ổn định, hiệu quả.

Các thành phần chính của OS bao gồm: Kernel, API và Giao diện người dùng (UI)

Kernel: quản lý truy xuất phần cứng, xử lý dữ liệu.

API: cho phép lập trình viên phát triển ứng dụng.

Giao diện người dùng: giúp người dùng tương tác qua đồ họa hoặc dòng lệnh.

Phân loại OS (Operating System): Multi-user (nhiều người dùng), Multitasking (đa nhiệm), Multithreading (đa luồng) và Real-time (thời gian thực).

Chức năng chính Operating System: quản lý tài nguyên (CPU, bộ nhớ, thiết bị ngoại vi), kiểm soát chương trình, quản lý tiến trình, bộ nhớ, lưu trữ, hỗ trợ truy cập dễ dàng và bảo mật cao.
 
Mục tiêu: tối ưu hiệu suất, hỗ trợ điều khiển phần cứng, cung cấp giao diện quản trị, chia sẻ tài nguyên công bằng, ẩn chi tiết kỹ thuật giúp người dùng sử dụng thuận tiện hơn.

Hệ điều hành phổ biến của OS:

Windows: dễ dùng, phổ biến, tính năng đầy đủ, có phí bản quyền.

MacOS: giao diện đẹp, dùng riêng cho máy Apple, kho phần mềm hạn chế hơn.

Linux: miễn phí, mã nguồn mở, ít người dùng, giao diện cổ điển.

Android: di động, kho ứng dụng lớn, tùy biến cao, bảo mật tốt nhưng kém iOS.

iOS: bảo mật cao, tối ưu phần mềm tốt, chỉ chạy trên thiết bị Apple.
