MC Goughy is someone who has always been into rave music from the early jungle days of 1994, he found a tape in the bk of mates a car, it was Helter Skelter DJ Slipmatt ....... thinking it was dnb he took it home n was simply blown away!

From then on he was hooked, happy hardcore was all he listened to! He eventual went to his first rave in 2003, Helter Skelter at the sanctuary! 
That was it then, no stopping him, he was hooked! He was out every weekend wherever there was a rave he was there! 

At the same time he took up djing as a hobby. He was buying some new vinyl in a local record shop, when he bumped into Ian (DJ Intox) (who was buying a ticket to uproar). They began chatting and Ian explained he was running a Rave in Cheltenham called Monkey Wrenched! MC Goughy explained he was a new MC and managed to get a set, his first one was with DJ VIBES!

Intox was really impressed as this was his first big gig out, so he decided to make Goughy a resident as he could see a lot of potential in him! Goughy has MCied for intox every since.

MC Goughy went to a new rave in his area called Full Throttle and met DJ Naughty who was promoting the night at the time (now in conjunction with Dj Intox). After this he became resident for full throttle, during this time Goughy has made a massive impact on the Gloucestershire area, Quickly becoming the areas number 1 hardcore MC.

DJ Naughty and DJ Intox (Gloucestershire Number 1 hardcore DJ's) have put on some massive events for the area with MC Goughy playing his part. Since the trio have joined forces, there sets have simply gone off, with a great response from the ravers everywhere they play! 
DJ Intox & DJ Naughty's tight mixing and varied sets combined with MC Goughys energetic stage presence makes for an euphoric set anywhere they play!!

Recently they all have started producing, and already have some club bangers! So watch this space.......

But one thing that makes Mc Goughy different from any other mc is his pure love for hardcore music u can see how much he is enjoying it on stage and that elevates the ravers! Its time to get the wheels in motion and fulfil his potential!

Official Allen & Heath DJ and a main player in the UK music industry for 30 years. Mark EG has transmitted his musical message many times over from the UK to Australia, transcending generations and cultures by playing countless different styles of electronic music. With a unique and anarchic approach, Mark has won many awards and accolades. His energy and passion for sound is quite simply, unparalleled. 

Mark’s stage antics are legendary. Previous shows have involved ironing boards, chainsaws, smashed decks and guitars, 12ft ladders, bags of flour. He entertains his fans like no other DJ in the world. They even have their own 'Mark EG' chant. 

 As a respected radio DJ, Mark runs his own national FM radio show on Megapolis 89.5FM. 'Tune In, Turn On, Drop Out' focuses on techno, electronica and more. His Megacast focuses on the harder sound. 

 Mark has released, remixed and mastered music under various guises on some of the worlds top labels. He runs his own Blackout Audio label (dark techno) and EG-303 (acid). His work with global equipment giants Allen & Heath has taken him around the world, officially testing and demonstrating their products at various events and conferences. He now also runs his own Music School, which enables him to give his knowledge back to those who want to get ahead in the music industry.

 There have been many imitators, but there is only one Mark EG! 

Established in September 2000, Blackout Audio is one of the worlds leading techno record labels. Owned by The Anxious aka Mark Anxious and Chrissi Blackout (Chrissi Whizz) the first stage in their development saw a barrage of vinyl releases from the biggest names in the techno world at the time - Chris McCormack, Patrik Skoog, Glenn Wilson, Inigo Kennedy, Hardcell, Robert Natus, DJ Ogi and The Space DJz, as well as The Anxious themselves. 

Thousands flocked to the Blackout Audio website and became part of their Underground Network – a web forum for like-minded individuals that allows regular contributors to share their knowledge with anyone and everyone who wants to be a part of the community. It is still going to this day.

In 2005 Blackout Audio began to produce its own radio show, which took over from Carl Cox on Moscow’s Megapolis FM and was also aired nationally in the Ukraine on Star FM. It’s still presented by Mark Anxious aka Mark EG and guests have included Kevin Saunderson, Cari Lekebusch, Chris Liebing, Joris Voorn, Mistress Barbara, Steve Stoll, Neil Landstrumm and many other legendary techno names. All the shows and up-to-date feeds are available via the Blackout Audio website.

2011 saw the label start to focus on the digital side of music – starting with their subdivision Blackout Audio Remastered, which takes all their classic vinyl releases and brushes them up for the digital world. A powerhouse of innovative and new releases have since been uncovered.
