POEKS is a DJ from Berlin who is operating grammophones that are running on homemade plum brandy. The result is a hot selection of selection of Afrobeat / Funk / Soul / Latin / Cumbia / Calypso and Reggae, combinig the sound of wild rhythms and driving brass sections with great soloists.

During the Performance the acoustic audio signal is beeing sensed from vinylplates, pre-amplified, mixed, amplified and finally transmitted to the audience via sound system.

He is a founding member of the Berlin based Electronic Swing Orchestra, guitarist and producer. He played gigs in Berlin, London, Melbourne, Lissabon, Paris, Kopenhagen and Berlin.
