Based in Adelaide South Australia, Nakatomi is a 2-piece electro pop act making dance music for party people.

Since forming in early 2015 (after being discovered by Fresh FM) Nakatomi have built a cult following for their high energy shows, huge sound and electrifying blend of 80’s, 90’s, dance, rock and pop. These two young muso’s, in their short time together, have already played to the mayhem of the Clipsal 500 Festival in March, headlined Futuresounds festival, completed an east coast tour, and received national airplay from community radio stations all over Australia. They’ve been featured as a spotlight artist on Triple J Unearthed, Jump artist of the week (twice) on Fresh FM, and were selected for the MRC Clipit Initiative.

If that wasn’t enough for their first year they have also shared stages with Miami Horror, Peking Duk, Joy, Nicole Millar, Wafia, Tigertown, The Swiss, Sneaky, Crooked Colours, Slumber Jack, Benson and LCAW.

They have collaborated with producers who have worked with Nin, The Cure, Smashing Pumpkins, Tkay Maidza, Kimbra, Depeche Mode, Art VS Science, AllDay, Birds of Tokyo, Sia and many more.

Taking influences from 80s dark wave pop, modern EDM, SCI-FI, Madonna and Pizza, Nakatomi combine pop hooks with dark electro dance, punchy synths, lush arrangements and fully-charged vocals that are not to be missed.
