With her honest rich songwriting and soothing musical melodies, songstress Jenni Alpert's haunting, powerful, and sultry voice has gained the respect of fans and music tastemakers worldwide (AOL music). Her emotionally driven, jazzy soulful songs blend modern day pop influences with favorites Ella Fitzgerald, Julie London, Carole King, Rickie Lee Jones and Aimee Mann. All encompassing, Jenni Alpert is a unique web of eclectic soul pop.
No stranger to a busy schedule, Alpert has independently performed in over 14 countries and her music has been featured on major Network Television shows including Castle (ABC), CSI Miami (CBS) The Real World, Teen Mom, 16 and Pregnant (MTV). As a UCLA Graduate, Alpert was one of the first vocalists to complete legendary Jazz guitarist Kenny Burrell's four year Ethnomusicology Jazz program. Live, Alpert has supported veteran touring artist such as Loudon Wainwright III and Luka Bloom both in the US and in Europe. Upon releasing a few independent albums on itunes, Alpert was offered the opportunity to perform and record her song Untied at Sun Studios in Memphis, TN recording home of Elvis, Johnny Cash, Howlin Wolf, and B.B. King which airs on PBS nationally. Cappuccino Records, an Italian vinyl label, released the first collection of acoustic performances of her songs recored live in Italy.

Nokuthula Endo Ngwenyama (No-goo-TOO-lah En-gwen-YAH-mah) is the first composer in residence with the Phoenix Chamber Music Society.  She is also an international concert artist, director and producer.  She produces 'Composer's Choice' with Phoenix Chamber Music Society and Peace Mama Productions (PMP).  

Winning the Primrose International Viola Competition at age 16 and the Young Concert Artists’ International Auditions six months later launched ‘Thula’s performing career.  A recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant, she performs as an orchestral soloist, recitalist and chamber musician throughout the world.  

Her music has been performed by the Detroit, St Louis, Chicago, San Francisco, and Toronto Symphonies, the Orquesta Nacional de España, Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and London Symphony Orchestra, amongst others.  

The album ‘Sonoran Storm’ - featuring works by Nokuthula Ngwenyama, Byron Adams, Rebecca Clarke, and Franz Liszt with pianist Eckart Sellheim - is available to listen to below.  

New additions include PMP pre-releases of 'A Bishop's Processional' for solo violin and string orchestra and 'It's You' for soprano and orchestra featuring Alison Buchanan and the Janacek Philharmonic with Anthony Armore conducting.
