This episode is jam packed with Pharmacy tracks Christopher is playing on tour and the response has been amazing from Down Under. Daniel Lesden has solidified his sound in recent years and is a name that is rapidly rising through the ranks and and is certainly definitely respected by his peers. His music can best be described as atmospheric and melodic, but at same time dancefloor orientated Progressive Psy Trance influenced by his love of the universe and journey of discovery. He has been meticulous in his preparations over the last year for his debut album ‘Chronicles Of The Universe’. With a remix of John 00 Fleming’s forthcoming single already in the pipeline, as well as three new EP’s all to be released on J00F Recording in 2014 the backing of such a powerful label proves Daniel has something special and what can only be described as an explosive journey ahead of him. Described as "A great up and coming psy producer!” by Simon Patterson, he began his professional career in the music scene in 2012 with his first release ‘Contact’ being snapped up by Ovnimoon Records and spent a number of weeks in the ‘Beatport PsyTrance Release 100’, finally holding firm at #7.  A remix of another of the heavyweights of the Psy Trance scene followed this with Ace Ventura’s monumental ‘Presence’, unleashing a moretechie sound on this remix that is certain to smash any dancefloor around the world.

Techno Trance Dj Tiesto - Live @ Cream Amnesia Ibiza 2005

Christopher Lawrence joined forces with Paul van Dyk for a tour of Argentina in November 2014. The pair who recorded an Essential Mix together in 2006 share a long history, being two of a small handful of trance DJs who pioneered the genre in the mid 1990's. They have played many festivals and club shows together, but this was the first time they have embarked on a tour. They were joined by Tomas Heredia.

The tour hit Rosario on Nov 21st, Buenos Aires on Nov 22nd and Mendoza on Nov 23rd.

Dance Valley Festival 2005: One dance, one love, one happiness, one weekend… and 60,000 party people.

In 2005, the Dance Valley festival entered it’s eleventh year. The festival had become the jewel in the crown of the European summer festival circuit, boasting massive and highly produced, themed stage areas, cafés, a campsite with supermarket and even an outdoor cinema. Known as "the Woodstock of Dance”, the festival attracts DJs and fans from around the world.

In 2005, Christopher Lawrence appeared for the first time at Dance Valley. On Friday, Christopher played the Main Stage and returned for an encore performance on Saturday night, headlining the ‘Electro Beats’ Trance Stage.

Christopher Lawrence returned to Dance Valley in 2007 to by host his own arena - Continental, his invited guests included Judge Jules, Blank & Jones, John “00” Fleming and Sean Tyas.

Carl Cox says “Missing Dance valley for a year means not having lived for a year”.

Following a series of collaborative sell out shows, original production work and a joint mix compilation together, world renowned DJs John 00 Fleming (UK) and Christopher Lawrence (USA) have officially joined forces under the moniker Fleming & Lawrence.

Here is the first hour from their marathon eight hour set playing to a packed house at Avalon Hollywood in June 2012 (thanks to Kristina Sky for recording it). 

It was a true underground night to remember and a launching point for their upcoming UDM tour.

A true house music classic, Alcatraz’s ‘Giv Me Luv’ returns early-2013 on the 1trax imprint with a wealth of remix talent stepping  up, including  H-Foundation,  Two Armadillos,  Doc Martin, Dodha, Shenoda and Secret Society.

Originally released in 1995 on Deep Dish’s Yoshitoshi imprint, ‘Giv Me Luv’ represented some of the finest post-tribal, New York influenced house music around. With possibly the most recognisable stabs in house history alongside the titular vocal refrain and crunching drums, the Victor Imbres and Jean Phillipe Aviance production was undoubtedly the biggest record of the year and saw re-releases on countless labels around the world.

Now, 1trax, have put together the first remix package in the release’s history that truly compliments  the original’s  house anthem  status. From the modern  West-Coast  H-Foundation  interpretation  to Shenoda’s distinct UK version, each mix provides a welcome new slant. Giles Smith and the late Martin Dawson’s Two Armadillo’s project deliver a deep, impeccably judged take while 1trax stalwarts Dodha and Secret Society provide brooding and slo-mo takes respectively. Doc Martin, as you’d expect from a true house master – also nails it.

A bonefide house classic being reworked by some of the genre’s finest talents, old and new, is an enticing prospect and this package delivers across the board.
