Fleming & Lawrence have a lifelong passion and dedication to underground trance. From the world’s biggest festivals Dance Valley, EDC and Global Gathering to the darkest afterhours, the duos powerful sets and commitment to quality music have made them legends in the dance world. 

Pharmacy Music’s first single was a collaboration by John 00 Fleming and Christopher Lawrence titled “Beyond the Limit”. The single remains one of the biggest releases on the label to date.

Fast forward to 2013 and Fleming & Lawrence are launching a series of new “Beyond the Limit” remixes featuring some of their favorite producers. The duo also gave new producers an opportunity with a remix contest that generated seven winners.

In the first installment of Beyond the Limit (2013), we have remixes from Nick Sentience and Reaky, plus contest winners Stephane Badey, Franco Landriel and Takaki Matsuda & Apsara.

A rolling psy trance bass line powers the groove of the track while shimmering melodies drive the energy of the track. A clever vocal sample and breakbeat drop in the middle creates tension before the melodies multiply and the razor sharp acid line kicks in.

Christopher also serves up an incredible December installment of his podcast featuring new tunes by Nicholas Bennison, Solar Spectrum, Tribe Spread, Ohmnidrive, Nanot3ch, Bao, Sonic Species, 5th Dimension, French Skies & Stephane Badey with the track of the month going to Hypnoise.

This months guest mix is from the Buenos Aires production team known as Trip which is made up of Fernando Picciano, AKA Fergie of Fergie and Sadrian, and their studio partner Emiliano Ayub. 

After a taster of Trip’s clean production and engineering tricks on their remix of Anubis by Fergie & Sadrian on Pharmacy Music, the response was so great that Christopher immediately got the guys back in the studio for solo release No Location / Agni, which came  out on Pharmacy Music this month and is getting support from Support from Casey Rasch, Christopher Lawrence, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Gordon Coutts, Martin Libsen, M.I.K.E, Renato Dinis, Robert Gitelman and more.

Casey’s track, Go, was one of the most popular releases on Pharmacy this year which is what landed him this remix. And what a remix it is. Casey Rasch pulled out all the stops on this one. The remix drops into a break beat driven breakdown and taking his lead form the original, Casey cranks the acid up to eleven for pure dance floor mayhem at it’s best.

Back from another incredible Burning Man and jetting off to Argentina this weekend, Christopher Lawrence checks in with another slamming episode of Rush Hour for September.

This months guest mix is from Grains of Sound, whose new single “Eager" Fingers” / “Paradigm Bag” is out this month on Christopher’s label Pharmacy Music. 

Grains of Sound is the ambient-psy-trance project from brothers Chris (Exeris) & Jason Sevanick, who gained notoriety with their industrial electronic act, Mindless Faith. Always ones to push boundaries, the brothers turned their production talents to the more underground electronic music sound that had captured their attention.

Grains of Sound came to Pharmacy Music with a proven history of creating genre defying psy-trance. In 2007, Grains of Sound released their double-disc debut album "Rays of Life", comprised of Vol. 1 Down (downtempo) and Vol. 2 Under (ambient), on AlterCulture Records. The album received excellent reviews and their follow up album "Sine Language" (2010) received even greater acclaim for their exploration of different styles and energy levels.  From uptempo psychedelic trance, both progressive and minimal, along with hints of house and breaks, to lush, sweeping soundscapes that wash over sub bass frequencies and deep downtempo beats, to Vast evolving layers, organic textures and sentient sounds leave all beats behind, pure ambient intoxication.
