Fleming & Lawrence have a lifelong passion and dedication to underground trance. From the world’s biggest festivals Dance Valley, EDC and Global Gathering to the darkest afterhours, the duos powerful sets and commitment to quality music have made them legends in the dance world. 

Pharmacy Music’s first single was a collaboration by John 00 Fleming and Christopher Lawrence titled “Beyond the Limit”. The single remains one of the biggest releases on the label to date.

Fast forward to 2013 and Fleming & Lawrence are launching a series of new “Beyond the Limit” remixes featuring some of their favorite producers. The duo also gave new producers an opportunity with a remix contest that generated seven winners.

In the first installment of Beyond the Limit (2013), we have remixes from Nick Sentience and Reaky, plus contest winners Stephane Badey, Franco Landriel and Takaki Matsuda & Apsara.

Whatever You Dream is a hybrid of the underground trance and psy trance sound championed by Christopher Lawrence that is taking the underground scene by storm.
 
On remix duties is the Greek DJ and production team known as Active Limbic System. George Tripas and Michalis Patakas have only been producing together for a few years but are already making a mark for themselves. Active Limbic System reinvents the original, giving Whatever You Dream a deeper but no less energetic groove. What really makes this remix stand out is the addition of an ominous melody line in the breakdown that continues through the track.

A leader in the underground dance music movement, Christopher Lawrence raises the bar with Terminus, which is the follow up to his Top 20 chart singles The Dark and Whatever You Dream earlier this year. Terminus is a proper underground trance at its best. A rolling baseline forms the backbone of this track. Adding to the energy, heaps of out of this world effects bounce in and out overhead while the main lead line builds in intensity. The track really gets going as it builds out of the breakdown, hitting peak intensity as the snaky acid lines reach full force.

Mark L turns in a blinding trance remix. Hand picked to remix Terminus by Christopher Lawrence after the success of his Morgana and Shade on You releases. Mark L is just the man to transform the original into a peak time trance track designed for maximum destruction.

It seems inconceivable that it took Los Angeles based label mates and friends Christopher Lawrence and Jonathan Allyn over ten years to get into the studio together – but it was well worth the wait. The Human Element represents a meeting of the minds of two brilliant, passionate producers with a love of underground trance. 

The Human Element is a beast of a track with its pounding kick and bass but what really sets it apart are the huge melodies that lift and propel it. The melodies are powerful without being euphoric - a fine balancing act that turned out brilliantly with not just one but two lead lines that break out of the drop. A true feast for the ears on the dance floor.

On remix duties is Daniel Lesden, one of the most respected names in the new breed of psy trance producers. Daniel has already earned major respect for his releases on J00F, Perfecto Fluoro and many more.
